SnailZ321
I personally like rap/hip-hop, and bluegrass and r&b, and my favorite song has to be Robbery by Juice WRLD.

Music is so subjective that it's almost impossible to not have an eclectic palette these days. But #1 for me hasn't changed in 25 years: Sure, there's newer stuff, but nobody's done it better. I listened to that song in the church before my wedding ceremony got started. I listened to it on the way to the hospital when my wife was in labor. In college writing papers, or even today if I know the day's going to be a rough one, I start my day with this song. My emotional attachment to it is borderline unhealthy--tot he point that if I'm lucky to be coherent enough to have something play me off into the sunset as I get ready to shuffle loose the mortal coil, it's going to be this. My guilty pleasure music? Movie scores. Not soundtracks, but the scores themselves. James Horner, Ennio Morricone, Basil Poledouris, and so many other talented composers have given me the soundtrack to my own life that's far more intimate and memorable than any popular music selection.

I can listen to the stuff with Jason, and tolerate the newer stuff, but IMO there is a distinct difference.

G IR U IB
Eminem. Mainly early stuff. UK hard house. Been around the dance scene since the 80s loved the oldskool break beat hardcore rave from 88 to late 91.now UK hard house is the closest thing to that. I am a huge huge huge Cliff Burton fan. Was actually offered to go on tour as the drummer for a Metallica cover band back in the day. I've seen them five times, but only with Jason Newsted, never with Rob Trujillo.
virgil_caine
I listen to a broad range of music depends on the mood or setting I’m in. I would have to say Blues, Classic Rock, Oldies like Jerry Lee and Buddy Holly, Motown R&B, I like some classical I’m not an aficionado though, Opera Pavarotti or Boccelli, 80’s and some 90’s grunge and alt rock. my favourite band since I have to choose is “The Band”. redscrew
I mostly like alternative rock from the 90's to early 2000's. I guess my favorite band overall would have to be Oasis. Favorite song? Anything by them really.
Kormath
i've gone through all the genre's in my age. Did hte country stage, the rap stage (shortly lived), etc. etc. the only thing i really haven't listened to is classical or opera and I never will. I did some class about music the first attempt at college right out of high school and i hated it. Can't listen to rap anymore, it's all crap now, if i do listen it's select songs from way back when it was good. Country is ok, i still listen to it now and then but not often. can't stand most classic rock either, my stoner days and ex wife burned me out on most of that. Few songs i'll listen to but if i can change the music i'll change it. One of my favorites, and i've been back listening to it again lately, is techno or EDM i guess they call it now. Back when i got into it there was only 2 flavore, techno and house music. The techno type i liked way back then is now one of man flavors, seems like they did that with most genre's of music. I've always loved Avicii, and i was really bummed about his death. sucks when the great ones end their lives early. Really like Diplo, Armin Van Buren is a god, Fisher is a demi-god, and some of my other favorites include Afrojack, Alesso, and Kaskade (not to be confused with Cascada, the smoking hot german DJ/Singer). #SadCowboy
I like a mix of 80's and 90's rock, especially the grunge scene. I don't have a favorite song. It would take me too long to pick only one considering I probably have like a top 50 songs list that I can't even put in order lol
Freddie Mercury
I have a lot of bands and artists that i enjoy listening to. Main ones are Queen, Metallica, Iron Maiden, David Bowie, AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, and Guns N' Roses. Favorite song is hard to decide because one day i'll be listening to Sad But True and think it's amazing and the best song ever. And then the next day i'll be thinking the exact same thing about The Seven Seas Of Rhye or Aces High. But as of right know I'm enjoying the hell out of The Millionaires Waltz and Master Of The Puppets. Parzival
There are songs I like from just about every genre except country (just cannot stand country music, sorry) and Eminem, but for the most part I'm a rock guy. Metallica, Ozzy and Sabbath, Motley Crue, KISS, AC/DC, and such.

lumper
I enjoy a wide range of music from oldies to pop to rock and roll to hard rock, etc... My favorite bands were Van Halen before 1984, Led Zep, Ozzy, Sabbath, but I also grew up with oldies Elvis and Sadaka, the O'jays, I am a drummer and I also play guitar, write music and lyrics and I have a couple of bands. My current band Pyramis is a hard rock all original band that plays all over the US, I have written al the words and music to about 35 songs. We play around 20 of those at performances. I no longer listen to the radio or music unless I am somewhere that it is on and I have no control, I love music, I just never listen to it, I have it on in my head all the time and I find radios distracting, I have a lifetime to Sirius and use it for comedy and Stern. I dont listen as I dont want to copy what others have done, and when I am writing it helps to not know what is out, if that makes any sense.

Mark Knopfler is brilliant with that guitar of his. 70's and 80's rock music for me, as well as a bit of 80's pop music. Modern Rap and such Not so much (at all)... What about you?
Kormath
pretty much what people have said in music post about 5 or 6 posts down To elaborate on my post there (since i'm bored at work sitting in a conference call with nothing better to do for an hour) got my first casette player when i was 6 or 7, but my parent's regulated what music we could listen too. So from then until i got my first cd player wow in 1985 or 1986 it was classic rock (wasn't called classic back then, it was just older) all we could buy locally for cd's at that time in the small town i grew up in were country. So i did the country phase for a few years, but listened to the top hits in pop on the radio, if we could get the station to come in clear enough to listen. Back then the earth had to be perfect in rotation, the clouds just right, the wind blowing our way from the station to help the radio waves, etc. In High school when the local store expanded it's music and video selection, my best friend got me hooked on EDM, but it wasn't called EDM back then. We had techno either House or Trance. 3 AM, The Shaman, and KLF were some of my favorites that spring to mind from back then. Moved out of my parents at 18 to go to college (2 hour drive south) and got to listening to hard rock. Alice n Chains, Poison, Aerosmith, etc. did that for a few years, then went to pop, listened to pop for probably a decade or more. At that time it was all just background music for me rather than listening to enjoy the music. Something to fill the silence. Then i got satellite radio 12 or 13 years ago. Every car radio i've had since then have all had 6 programmable buttons for 12 stations, i'm to lazy to program more than 6 so to this day my station list i cycle through is BPM (EDM music) Diplo (More EDM, Diplo is an amazing DJ that his own station on Sirius/Xm) Hair Nation (big hair rock bands from the 80s/90s) Top Hits (pop) Venus (i think it's called more top pop hits) Top Country station (don't remember the station name, it's only in my list for when my niece's and nephews ride with me, they're not allowed to listen to anything but country) Since we have favorite, here's what i can't stand also cRap, Opera, Classical, Blues, Jazz, country, soul, to many to name here so lets just say anything that is outside the scope of the first 5 radio stations above i don't like now.
