My character looks to be in decent shape but the stats tell me otherwise. I guess he is overweight even though it isn't showing it or he isn't overweight and for some reason, he is being registered as such. I gave up trying to figure this out but more power to you for sticking it out for the rest of us and getting to the bottom of this.

If you chose a lean/athletic build when you made your character then when you're overweight it won't show as much as if you had chosen a more muscled build.

I  found that it is very easy to go "overweight" and a litle overweight isn't bad underweight and overweight each affect the drain on health and stamina , one gets a boost and the other takes a hit.
f you go out of your way to eat the canned foods like beans and peas etc.. and otherwise use your camp to refresh your cores, it works real fast if you upgrade to a lean too I think it is, one of the early upgrades, it makes it so you can re charge pretty quickly, and not need to eat.

I found even just eating big game meat with thyme for the dead eye will put you overweight pretty quickly if you don't then do other stuff and not eat for a while, the one revealing thing R* said to me, was avoid candies and biscuits, do not eat any of these so I figured those probably had a faster stronger effect towards the "overweight" thing.

Anyway, my guy is or isn't overweight I don't so much care about that, what I'm bothered by and struggling with is a few of my coats glitch out and are missing parts because of the shape of my guy, he is a litle pear shaped let's say lol.

Now I did this on purpose, but I had no idea that it would be a problem, I figured the clothes would be all worked out for each body type, since you can make a pear shaped player but thats not the case.

So hopefully they will sort it out as I cant change my character, even losing weight doesnt change the shape as you woudl expect in real life.

I don't know if it is down to how you shape your character in the creation or what but I noticed on my friend's dude that he made larger when he gains or loses weight it changes the stats quite a bit but he hardly looks any different.

I feel like they didn't spend enough time on the creation formatting and should just clean it out and redo it. Just allow people to re-edit their characters without losing anything when it happens. I know it is a fat chance they will do it this way but at this point, I think it would be the best way to fix it.

Well, remember they were a year over the deadline releasing the single player game, they are now a year and 4 months over the deadline for the multiplayer, anything that they scrap and redo, is going to be a time commitment and we dont want that at this point, hopefully it is in a line of things to do in a basket on a desk at R* offices right now.

Once they tweak the coding and see what needs tweaking it will get smoothed out, I do trust them.

Always remember it is still beta.
