Fredy2Rome22
If Rdr2 doesn’t come with new good content where one can make big cash or earn a lot more gold or even add Indians that raid or surprise attack you on missions and even add more hidden treasure maps that obtain hundreds of dollars and maybe more than 1 gold bar. I’m not playing rdr2 until they come up with more exciting content and new cloth and features.

Nice change from hunting animal samples in my opinion & daily challenges provide plenty of RD$$$ & Gold for me.

So much was possible to implement and so much was promised and all came down the sink or toilet if you like. The updates were released overdue and content they brought could be done in days if you played a lot. There were supposed to be train robberies, estates to buy and so on - nowhere to be found. I lost hope in further RDR 2 development besides cosmetics and some new pvp modes and missions like blood money. All and all RDR2 story mode is one of the best games i ever played and i had loads and loads of fun in Online Reaching lvl 456 (lol i realised that its the same number like in Squid Game last player XXXXD ) and still log in sometimes to play a bit (hope for the haloween event to start soon). So yeah Rdo$ and gold..... dont worry about it so much. I have around 2 k Gold and 150 K RDO$ and the problem is that You cant even spend it. And about the Indians- I've noticed that its a very hard topic for the devs and U.S.A. and they did everything not to involve indians to the game (history wise) but then again they did the KKK thing in Story mode and then after some time took it off bcoz of the pressure from the media and community but they lef A LOT of racism stuff and its fine to just run over a black worker in the farm but no Sir , not the indians !!! Kean_1
Did they really take out the dude in Lemoyne spouting the racist propaganda in story mode? I would be surprised if they did. I do know that they tried to stop hackers from spawning KKK members in RDO and that some sick players on online were even going around in KKK posses, etc. It was a problem they were trying to stomp out so if there were some things taken out of the game, that may have been why. As for Native Americans, it is a touchy subject how they are portrayed. There are still some clothing items, etc. tied to the NA people but yeah, R* has steered clear of involving them too much in the online game at least. If they did remove him, they'll probably quietly slip him back in in a later update like they did the Lemoyne suffragette once the whole "controversy" (I call it a "non-event," but w/e) over that YouTuber feeding her to an alligator died down. Iron Jacket
In some ways, Rockstar has grown such tough skin since the early noughties that they can just roll with the punches. It's a corporate company, so don't expect them to directly answer every question. Their comms team will keep pushing their news articles and social media updates instead. Wasn't it announced earlier in the year that Red Dead Online would not be updated anymore? Is this incorrect? If we could own estates and land, be able to ranch and cowboy or grow crops, that would be incredible. Likewise, it would be incredible to do full-on train robberies, but if I've learned anything from Grand Theft Auto Online as a project, it's that slow and steady is the key, and even then don't expect too much. Kean_1
@Iron Jacket Back in July of this year they said they would not be releasing any more "major themed content updates like in previous years". However, they will continue to support the game and will release seasonal updates building on existing modes, etc. as well as QOL improvements. So, while we won't likely see properties we can buy or other major new additions / content to the game, it will continue to be updated and supported. Not what fans wanted to see and certainly not me but their focus is on GTA6 right now and into the foreseeable future. I know many of us felt RDO never reached is fullest potential and could have really been much more successful than it already was if they had nurtured it more. As it is, the game has felt pretty dead / stagnant for a long while now. .....at least to me which is a shame.

There had been rumors they would concentrate on GTA 6, which I hope they do well with - It'll be interesting to see how the online plays out. It's definitely a shame. Compared to GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption had the better online experience, it's a shame the tables have turned somewhat, even if the gameplay mechanics are definitely in Red Dead's favor. I wonder if they have less time than they originally thought? There were rumors about new major updates and even the rockstar editor - even if that had been a purchase-only option, I feel like they could have made a killing. Kean_1
There's really no way to know all of their reasons. Much of it could be based on player population and other statistics we just don't have a complete view of. It simply may not have been worth the time and resources in their eyes to pursue those goals with RDO. By the time GTA6 arrives and depending on how well that does out of the gate, etc., I'll wager any focus on the RDR IP will be the next iteration vs. a revisit of RDR2. ....so the best I think RDO players can hope for are the QOL improvements, modest updates, etc. Look at GTAV.... We just recently acquired the ability to play solo or invite-only while accessing most businesses that previously could only be accessed through a public session. .....or solo but using the MTU exploit that tricked the game into forcing you into your own server. Those are the type of QOL improvements I'm hoping RDO can look forward to. I haven't played RDO for quite a very long time but maybe that would change. Antonia
Hey guys long time no see. I'm still playing rdo from time to time. It is a so very beautiful world the built, it makes me sad every time i play thinking we will not see those bank or train roberries, or the missions with our dogs as companions or the properties they promised. The fact that they didn't even keep the promises makes me sad and unable to believe them again in the future. Right now i keep playing till i buy whole catalogue and i think that will be the end of the game for me. And i'm close to achieve that.
