Monthly bonuses in Red Dead Online based on one of the five Specialist Roles is always a good bet, and this month it’s the Collectors‘ turn to reap the benefits. While we doubt any players have been remiss unlocking all the Roles by now, there are some non-Collector oriented bonuses on offer as well.
All outlaws who have perfected the art of hoarding junk to such a degree that it has become a genuine Collector profession can benefit from the month-long generosity of Madam Nazar, who is now paying triple for sets, both in RDO$ and XP. The same bonus applies to all Collector Free Roam Events.
In addition to these baseline bonuses, Collectors will also earn 3X Role XP for discovering Collectibles, as well as a neat little weekly incentive for unearthing three items of value. The reward changes each week, so make sure you log on diligently!
The rewards start with 3 Dynamite Arrows and 20 Shotgun Buckshot Incendiary Ammo, followed by 3 Dynamite Arrows and 20 Shotgun Buckshot Incendiary Ammo. Then you’ll unlock The Bluewater Marsh Treasure Map, followed by A black Gator Hat and finally the month will close off with A light gray Carbow Double Bandolier.
While you’re busy with all this collecting, you’ll likely passively end up earning additional rewards – Rockstar Games is awarding any player completing Collector Daily Challenges for three consecutive days with a black Macbay Jacket, and digging up any fossil will also earn you the American Wild Flowers Collector’s Map.
If you want to pull your head out of the dust every now and then, all the Free Roam Missions that any player can access regardless of Role will be paying out 3x XP all month long, and anyone who completes the insurmountable and shockingly challenging task of… uh, logging in anytime before September 2 will get the black Patterned Bandana for free.
Those of you who go the extra mile – you know, actually play the game and all that – and complete a round of the Salvage or Condor Egg Free Roam Events will get a free purple Gardenia Hat. You may be outlaws, but you can be fabulous outlaws. You can also earn a Reward for a Free Emote with a three-day Daily Challenge completion streak.
