I don't even get the semi-circle! because my "Y" Cheat button never comes up! & I don't know why?

I'm Playing RDR for the first time & am trying to cheat at Poker, I'm using xbox one & have the dress outfit But when I go to play my "Y" (Cheat) button never comes up to allow me to do so, What am I doing wrong??? Thx
