  2. That's awesome dude. I just recently picked up an Xbox Series S and I love It. Even though it is only on a 1080P TV, I'm noticing more texture detail in a game not optimized for the console yet and the better CPU and SSD are resulting in a better game play experience over the Xbox One S.

  4. ...as I mentioned above, PCs and consoles have their pros and cons. It just depends on what aspects matter most to you. My only advice would be not to get distracted or jaded based on others biases and so on. As for monthly fees, on PS I just pay for the subscription each year since it's a hell of a lot cheaper than paying monthly or even quarterly. ....IIRC, it's $10/month, $25/qtr and $60/yr. If you wait until the holidays, you can take advantage of their sales. I just re-subscribed at the end of November for $45 which will take me through the end of this year. .....$15 off the re

  5. "Paint it Black" in Online allows you to mark out however many "x"s you have bullets loaded for. If you use the Schofield revolver, you can paint 6 "x"s. If you have the bow or Springfield rifle, you can only paint one. Once you pull the right trigger to fire, your character will fire off all marked shots very quickly. Unlike Story mode, time does not slow down while in Dead Eye. Ideally," Paint it Black" is only used as a means to guarantee accuracy (unless your target ducks behind cover)

  6. Hi @kemalcorek and welcome. I'm moving your post to the main Online section for more visibility. Wish I had an answer for you but I'm sure someone will be along to help.

  7. That is what I was hoping for. First time online I encountered a couple who kept chasing me around, killing me, tying me up and wouldn't stop. I finally just left online mode and have not returned. I only play in story mode now. And hoping the developers will bring out more states and territories soon too!

  8. PS5 games have been $59 at the high end for a long time for the standard version of titles. .....more for "deluxe", "collectors editions", etc. The sky is the limit in that respect. With the release of the next gen consoles, software prices have finally been raised in some instances to $69 for entry level. We'll have to see what the industry does in that respect as some are still releasing titles @ $59, etc. Now, that's titles at the release prices. Sale prices will vary wildly. I often pick up games I'm not particularly anxious about for significantly less than what it migh

  10. I've got a web check that runs automatically for changes in pages, sections of pages, etc. It alerts me when stock comes in but even with that edge, I still haven't landed one. I've been in the waiting line and even in the cart a couple times but beaten out every time. ....lol.

  11. I'm still trying to source a PS5. I figure by next month or March when @Tas plans to buy his they will begin to stay in stock longer than a few minutes. SIE already discontinued production on some PS4 models in some markets to focus attention on building more PS5s. Our 58" is 1080P as well. I thought the TV would have pooped out by now but it's still with us and I have no desire to upgrade just for 4K, faster refresh, etc. .....even with an "in" in the industry where we can score a great deal on one. Just not that interested right now. Ours looks and works great. I'm really loo

  12. Naa, its ment for animal hunting, spesificly the legendary, or just for us who are bad animal hunters overall that cant oneshot bears and aligators with the bolt action or bow. On AI you have assisted aim, so just flick the stick up(assuming you are playing with a pad) when it auto aims on the chest, and you will get a headshot when the fokus is fully engaged.(aka the circle the grows smaller the longer you aim) Takes a bit training but when you nail it you will start to see you need accuracy more then damage.

  13. I mentioned it before but I used to build my own PCs for gaming and been a PC gamer since the 80's. I also worked in the industry since that time. .....I retired after 30 years. There are pros and cons to all platforms. While I found I could future proof my PCs to an extent, there were never any guarantees that requirements, technology, etc. wouldn't change. I found myself upgrading one or two components about once every two years or so not to mention the drivers, OS and related issues to contend with depending on the game. Building, upgrading, etc. was just part of the hobby though

  14. Thank you Kean. I own both PC and consoles because in my opinion and that’s all this is, to truly get the best of both worlds of gaming. But if we are being honest, I’ll take consoles over anything else, any day of the week. I don’t have to worry about trolls with mod menus, the hardware is more cost effective, and the 30 FPS argument is so overrated. Soon, 30 FPS will be more of a thing of the past on consoles and switching back and forth between PC and consoles, there is not enough of a difference for me to even care. Again, if I could only keep one it would be the consoles.

  15. yup. It is ironic realy, that R* promotes this as an RP game, yet only allows the creation of one single avatar. Apparently that single avatar is ment to hold all roles and all avatar personalitys....They dont know what the core of RP is. As a side note, you should allso invest in the collector role. It is slow and takes time to build up, but when you start to complete and sell collections the cash realy start to gather. I think no other job comes near the amount of cash you can generate(anywhere from 70-300+ for complete sets), but it is a pasifict role so not many like it for that

  16. Ok, so some backstory. I spent last 2 weeks lvling up my trader to 20. I had done well. I was making alot of money I had everything I needed an was starting to customize things. THEN.... I decided I wanted to try Bounty Hunting. So I deleted my Trader in misguided idea that id keep all the gold I bought, an items I had etc etc (no I didn't buy my way through game)..... But then I restart as Bounty Hunter an zippo... all I had 800$ an 10g....Not happy Jan!!! So, sucking it up an take responsibility for myself, I started leveling with god horrible weapon, an a worse horse. Not sure

  18. @Tas I was actually in the market for a console when Death Stranding (late 2019) came out and was obv eyeballing rdr2. Then ppl were telling me to wait for PC and rdr2 is on PC too. to which I said gta5 is also on PC with what result. some ordinary gamers started to play gtao recently. I'm not a watcher of his but he pops up on my phone here and there, and boy am I glad he started to play that game and shined light on the multiplayer. Having watched his follow-up video, I had no idea it was even that bad. I'm so glad I didn't buy that "trash" game. I don't hate on consoles but michae

  19. I have to admit, I hate consoles. But I am beginning to see differently. Ive always a "PC Master Race"... an its true PC FAR outshines anything. But an heres the kicker.... You have to spend big money to do that. I am starting to wonder, but I dont like idea of paying a monthly sub just to use my console online. Not to mention I cant play with or talk to my friends on Discord if I went console.

  20. "Dude".... You're barking up the wrong tree with that pretentious "PC master race" argument. That's not what this is about. You do you. No one is trying to convince you otherwise. No need to knock others for choosing to play on console or whatever. ......that's just silly to be honest.

  22. So started the day with the same error - removed 7 of my stored outfits & left me in the 1 I was wearing & also dumped my camp in the desert - it also takes all the mount stored outfits - so I rebuilt/recreated my missing 1's & carried on playing BUT when I changed lobbies to get back to my camp - which it moved to Big Valley away from my usual location of Great Plains - it also removed the same 7 outfits again - so that's twice in 1 day LMFAO This is getting a bit boring now & I will be attempting to contact R* to find out what's going on!

  24. Thanks man. I'm buying a PS5 but either way, I think this is a good sign. I'm quite certain demand has dropped off because of the Christmas crunch and supply may finally be able to catch up. I just hope the scalpers are stuck with a bunch of inventory they can't sell. .....or at least have to for a discount.

  25. Nah.... As someone who played GRW since release, it didn't have that many bugs. At least not on console. The fact is some just didn't have the same level of issues with RDO as others seemed to have. I know that while I shared some, I didn't have a lot of others. PC was a different story.

  29. This man is telling you the truth. I have played the online game on all three platforms. PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Of those, the best overall experience that I have had has been on Xbox. You will find trolls on any platform if you stick around long enough, but the difference between consoles and PC is night and day. Do yourself a favor and run out and buy yourself an Xbox this weekend if you can't wait for when the next generation console are in normal stock, or if you already own a console, purchase a copy of the game on it and be done with this crap. I love PC gaming too, but as a gam

I'm only telling you this as your post seems to be addressing them directly. I'm also guessing you're playing on PC? .....might want to clarify that for folks if they try to provide suggestions. 35. Another week gone, so here I am with a new portion of fresh screenshots The last post was about creating a rough visualization of the ideas I had in mind. So, following the path - this time I'll tell you about the next stage. This week my main task was to replace all those cubes and block with final models. Some had to be modeled by my own hands, but hey.. western is a quite popular topic, which is really great for me as modelling everything by hand is super time consuming. A desert town. Before and after. So, as you can see all of these houses were just blocks and c

  36. Hey everyone! It's been two weeks since I started working on the RDR2 3D Motion Graphics video. Those were the most intensive weeks in my life I must say, but it is extremely interesting since I've never done this before. Not even a bit. I guess now I'm playing RDR2 on the next level! Here's how it goes. The process of creating a 3D motion graphic video is like building a spaceship, but harder It all starts with a rough visualization of your idea. It includes basic objects, their animation and the composition. This is one of the first shots and the objects in it repres

Do those server scripting kids ever test anything before giving to the users?? Grrrrrr... (Sorry that I'm a bit angry right now.)

  42. I think the way the audio files for other rockstar games was downloaded through Open IV (Previously known as Spark IV). I think there is a way to convert R.P.F files to listenable audio files. Open IV is still working on their Red Dead Redemption 2 thing which they have almost done. I am hoping I can convert them that way because thats the only program I found that could possibly convert it to an audio file. This game may have the best game sound effects I have ever heard.

  47. I've got one. Upper Left Paddle = RS to activate Deadeye / So I can move, aim & activate Deadeye more fluently. Lower Left Paddle = Down D-Pad to scope in. So I can move, aim & scope in without having to remove my thumb away from the stick. Right Upper Paddle = Left D-Pad to switch shoulder while aiming. Same reason, so I don't have to remove my thumb from the stick to switch shoulders. Right Lower Paddle = LS to crouch. Make it more fluent. So there's no issue with my movement when I have to click the LS stick in.
