  1. I imagine there will be a lot of reused assets simply because, from an architecture standpoint, a brick building or drywall interior will look the same in Florida as it does in California. But in the screenshot above, pretty much everything except the female NPC in front of Lucia looks ready for gold to me. Considering GTAV was rereleased for a third time and about the only bad press I saw for it was that this "Expanded and Enhanced" version's announce trailer was made with PS4 graphics and wasn't really expanded or enhanced, I honestly don't think there would be much of an issue. It being "old media" doesn't make a difference when there are calls for disclaimers about "outdated views" and other nonsense to be added before movies like Gone with the Wind which remains a timeless classic despite the push to vilify every tiny thing about the pre-Civil War American South. I'm not going to jump to conclusions about GTA6 simply because we don't know much of anything about it to begin with. The two rednecks arguing over the existence of Finland is classic GTA, though. Diversity where it's warranted is one thing, but diversity just for the sake of diversity (as in, say, Assassin's Creed Odyssey) is every bit worthy of criticism. Modern day Miami isn't short on diversity, so its GTA counterpart shouldn't be either. As far as looking like "real people," even the old Victoria's Secret models who largely made that perfect hourglass figure so popular and desired were real people, so unless Lucia has four arms, four legs, and a pair of dragonfly wings, there's no strict set of criteria that defines what makes her or anyone else "real." No, the main thing that I took away from that was how some people's priorities are arranged. "This game terrible, it's going to be so wo---OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THAT ASS!" ๐Ÿ˜†

  5. Good day, My name is STN357 and we are an active, extremely helpful, adult gaming Community. We've made a great reputation for being a cohesive unit by being great people to one another. We run every role as a crew. Collector, Trader, Bounty Hunter and Moonshiner. To become a part of this Community you'll need to reply to these simple questions before requesting to join. Copy and Paste this below and fill in the content. If you have questions about any of this, just ask below. I would like to join your community. 6. while trying to play I am confronteed by people hacking and in god mode . they jump all over the map killing and ruining the game . it wouldn't be bad if you could kill them but you can't they are unkillable. A little bit of banning would go a long way to making a bunch of people happy.

  8. It's in the same boat as Alaskan Sage and American Sage. It's just listed as sage after you've picked it. In your compendium it will show up as 2 different plants, but when you go to use it for crafting, they are the same thing.

  9. @ClassicSarah If they messaged through PSN and depending on the content of that message, you can directly report that to Sony. There is an option in messenger. Sony has taken a firm stance on harassment, inappropriate / insulting remarks and so on. If you have an example in one or more of their messages about their intention to harass you, send that in. .....btw, you can also block their PSN account so they can't send you messages, follow you, etc.

  11. Ave all. I'm The Blackangel. I'm an avid gamer, and massive fan of RDR2. Personally I think it's leaps and bounds superior to RDR1. I fell in love with the game almost immediately. A little more about me, I'm 40, female, and have a very cynical sense of humor. I'm on another gaming forum, and it's one of the best I have found. But since this one focuses solely on a game that I am simply crazy about, I had to sign up. I have the game for both PS4 and Xbox One, but to me it plays much better on the PS4. I got the Ultimate Edition simply for the bonus code, even though I'm not an online gamer. I got the Ultimate, because it was all I could find with an unused code. Anyway, I'll shut up now. I suck at introductions, so it's for the best.

  13. 1] Complete the "online" story quests over the course of a few days play then join them as random "help" every day afterwards to increase your Cash money & Gold - you can replay or join them over & over until you know them inside out - all whilst making currency 2] Start every day looking at the daily challenges & complete as many as you can "easily" [without too much stress that is & don't worry about using the "community map" it isn't cheating in my opinion] these pay out Gold bar fragments & build up over the course of a 4 week cycle to reward you with 0.1 / 0.15 / 0.2 / 0.25 per completed challenge it soon builds up & the amount accessible to you increases as you unlock Roles like Bounty Hunter or Naturalist. 3] Buy Collector role as soon as you can afford the GB cost - you get XP for finding items & $$ for selling on - try & build sets as best you can [again the community map is invaluable] even better if they have it or any others "on sale" 4] Try some of the Free Roam events that drop like Day of Reckoning or Trade Route & find the ones u like to do - again these pay out Gold & can be low stress 5] Don't stress !! Most of all we are supposed to be having fun roaming the world they have made for us so just enjoy it - don't try & do everything immediately just take it slow & find what you like to do. 6] If things aren't going well you can always change "lobbies" by going back to the menu screen & hitting "ONLINE" even mid-delivery of goods or moonshine - you will not lose these it will re-set for your next try - this falls into the "don't stress" category!! 7] IMO the roles are best "taken" in this order [unless you can afford all at once] Collector - Trader - Moonshiner - Bounty Hunter - Naturalist - opinions vary but its all about those Daily Challenges IMO

  14. I was playing RDR2 on history mode, on Xbox One X, suddenly some sounds disappeared. Now I can't hear the sound of shots, the whistle for calling the horses, the sound of horse gallop. I can't also hear the sound of the cursor navigating on configuration menus. Maybe there are other sounds I can't hear, but these are the ones I missed. I tried to turn off/on the console but nothing changed. I think there is a driver issue, probably for a specific kind of sound file. Has anyone experimented this problem ? Thanks for anyone who can help me.

  16. I hope so. The PS5 version of GTAV launches next month IIRC along with 3 months free access to the new, enhanced version of GTAO. I'm sure my PS5 friends and I will be checking that out for a while. .....and I'll likely end up buying the new PS version of the game too. Hate to think about when "GTA6" will finally release. I'm sure it's still a long way out.

  18. If you were banned from a Discord server, you probably need to contact someone from the server you were banned from. Unless you know for sure that it's an official server run by Rockstar, they can do about as much about it as we can. Generally, Discord gives admins of individual servers full discretion over who they ban and why. But there are ways to file an appeal. Here's a link with details. https://donotpay.com/learn/banned-from-discord/

  19. Hi so if anyone's stuck with this problem in 2022 I found that it has been most likely a generation transition issue with controllers, so you if you push your L2 down very hard it'll Come up, I recommend just switching them to L1 but you can keep it the same. It's most likely got something to do with updates with the ps5 and haptic triggers. Hope this helped

  21. Whenever we first hop into a new highly anticipated game, we let ourselves be swept up by the experience. Having waited so long, we bet most Red Dead Redemption 2 fans are eager to get acquainted with the game as quickly as possible. However, this is a game that doesn't do a lot of handholding, and some systems simply aren't explained. While you'll get the hang of these mechanics with time, there are a few things best known before or when you start playing. Note: These tips are completely spoiler-free. We're only focusing on gameplay elements and mechanics you should know about from the start. Take Your Time First, let's tackle the mindset with which you go into the game with in the first place. Some games are really fast-paced and almost outright require you to rush to complete objectives as quickly a possible. Red Dead Redemption 2 is not such a game. Even more so than its predecessor and much more so than GTA, this game is to be savored like good wine not downed like a shot. Many of the game's systems and mechanics encourage you to ease into a steady pace of play where you take your time to explore, to learn, to understand and to take in everything that is happening. However, if you end up trying to rush with progress, you'll end up souring the experience. While there never is 'one right way' to play any game, there are wrong ways, and in this case trying to fast-track your game sessions is definitely the second. How to Upgrade Cores Red Dead Redemption 2's core system is a tad complex, and isn't really explained in-game. In fact, this is something we dedicate a whole guide to in and of itself which goes into greater detail. Basically, your cores are Health, Stamina and Dead-Eye. These are three little circles above the mini-map and the filled outline represents the amount of each. To upgrade these, which you will definitely want to do, you need to "use" them. It's a bit like real life, you need to use your muscles to strengthen them. With Dead-Eye and Stamina, this works easily. Just often perform stamina-consuming acts like sprinting and occasionally you'll get small Stamina upgrades. Same for Dead-Eye - just use it and it will be upgraded. Health is a different matter, since "using" it doesn't work. You can't get shot by lawmen or get mauled by bears and end up healthier than before. Cores also passively drain over time adding a kind of survival mechanic, as these are separate from your actual bars. You need to eat occasionally to prevent your health core from draining completely. This is what you can use to upgrade them. For a more comprehensive look at Cores, check out our guide (coming soon). Always Loot You can loot a lot of things in Red Dead Redemption 2. We suggest you do. Loot everyone, loot everything. If you adhere to this, you'll likely always have enough money, ammo and supplies throughout the game. Little dark crosses mark lootable items on your minimap, which become lighter and greyed out once looted. X marks the spot, and never ignore the X. Check Your Log Often Pressing left on your D-Pad will open your log, which tracks all of your non-mission activities. If you want to avoid grinding these activities later on, occasionally open your log to check what objective happen to be nearby. Completing them organically while on your way to other goals will make things more fun. Refill Dead-Eye With Chewing Tobacco Health and stamina regenerates on its own, but Dead-Eye does not. You need to pay attention to keeping it filled before encounters. Shooting enemies adds small amounts of fill, but the best and quickest way is by using chewing tobacco. It's a common loot item that goes into your consumables, so you should have pockets full of the stuff if you follow our looting tip. Use Your Bandana If you find yourself in the mood for a bit of premeditated criminal activity in Red Dead Redemption 2, make sure to wear a bandana. This doesn't have any negative effects, but it does hide your identity meaning what you do won't get bounty hunters sent after you. Local lawmen will still chase you if you are caught in the act, however they won't know that Arthur Morgan did the dirty deed, thus keeping your notoriety from increasing. Check out our other guides to learn more about how the game works. The post Red Dead Redemption 2 Tips For Beginners appeared first on RDR2.org. Read the full story

  22. Okay, two things happened: 1. Deleted the game from my hard drive to reinstall it. While reinstall was taking place, I went into saves to make doubly sure they didn't get deleted. This is where thing #2 happened. 2. Saw there were two recent auto saves from withing the last week, which shouldn't exist because I always play with auto save off. When I tried to delete them, I got a notification that the database was corrupted and the PS4 would restart. It did, database rebuilt, then I went in to check and found those auto saves (as well as save backups) were gone. After this, game finished installing, I started Story Mode, and it loaded right into my last saved game as it's supposed to. I'm thinking the corrupted database is the most likely culprit.

  30. I keep getting disconnected too. Can't do any missions because it'll kick me from the server halfway through. Nothing is wrong with my internet. I honestly don't know what to do. And now it's having issues simply loading the game. I literally can't do anything in game except hunt and Rob people. It's completely lame and not worth the money to buy it. Crapstar should just go out of business at this point.

  34. Try a full power cycle on the console. Just pressing the power button doesn't do this entirely. Either pull the power cord when the console is "off" and wait for two minutes or press the xbox button on the console and hold it for ten seconds (which forces a full shutdown). https://uk.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/How_to_Clear_Cache_on_Xbox_One_X Try doing this before contacting Rockstar, as they'll probably ask you to do this first. Turning a computer off and back on again does solve 99% of problems (allegedly).

  41. You need to reach Javier near Blackwater to advance the story, but the game does a horrible job of guiding you to him safely. Open your map and you'll see a longer strip of land that is not red to the East of Javier. place your waypoint on the end of this strip and you can then cross the shallow water to Javier into the wanted territory.
