Sometimes time freezes in place. Who knows why. But when it does move, it seems like we are fast forwarding sunrises and sunsets. Does anyone here feel similar?

Sometimes I notice the progression of time stands still. Probably because of a mission or event. But under what circumstances does it freeze/resume?
