I get your point, cross draw -is- a thing, but imagine this FAR more to the right, and FAR more twisted in angle closer to the right side... And not almost upright like in the video- but alot mor facing right. Not -impossible- to use it with the left hand, but you even need to bow a bit forward, move your left hand AAAAAALLL the way to the right, twist your wrist, keep your hand very close to your stomach while getting it out, and when you finally got the gun out from THAT position, it would take a very long way to point it out to shoot. If they serious about the positioning on THAT holster, and doesn't want to change it, I would add a huge delay, before he can get both guns out... While the belt Dutch uses allows for a dual quick draw. For a secondary gun for the right hand only, the one ingame is even more convenient than the one in this video. But I think they just f***d up to add a properly positioned cross-draw holster... if it would be more on the left, and far more upright, like in this video, it would allow for a normal time left-hand draw, compared to the quick-draw that possible from the right hand holster by right. Anyway, I never vouched to get rid of the holster permanently, I don't even want to change it's layout.. If someone likes it, have their fun with it- I'm all in for freedom in gameplay. But we had an option to get rid of it before the patch, then give that option back. This is the only source of my whining-

Very easy: You have those 2 holsters. Imagine it on yourself. Then quickly, or without using another hand OR breaking your wrist, take one of them out with your left hand.... XDDDDD Because in dual wield, he snaps it out teleport-like... Both are aligned for the -right- hand only.

Naw, pink holsters are going to be a real life merchandise to protest against oppression of the non-secondary-holster lifestyle XD by the way, if you can get 100 ppl together who would like to have a pink fanny holster to join our revolution, I will gladly arrange to make them, for a small little sum XD

There are no heated argument here. I posted my "message" here, basically aimed for the developers, mistaking the forum for an official one- received some heat as an "entitled kid", answered to those lines in a similar manner to keep the balance XD while admitted my mistake taking this place as an official one. but I received some creative and useful info since. Noone is out for blood here. There were some pun exchange I believe, and that's it. But thanks for your view- you have some truth there.

I never really understood people who came down like vultures on any attempt to have -more- -optional- features in a game. If you don't like it, you don't use it. But sh*t flinging on people who aim for -more- customization is like fighting for nothing. "I hate you because you would like to include something I would never use". XD maaan. No optional extra content / features ever hurt anyone. It is a really smart cause to fight -against- it.... Who does it hurt, if you can -remove- something? You are one of those who like it? Then f*** leave it turned ON. +we already had the option to get rid of it, and they solved to take it away by -erasing- absolutely legally saved old outfits. This kid is 36 years old - working in the DevOps field. (not on games sadly..) If you do not give feedback, then there are no changes going to be made -ever-. Cussing on other's feedback is "I despise you because you prefer a slightly more options in gameplay than I do". XD now THAT is childish. Last but not least: if rdr2.org has nothing to do with red dead redemption officially, then, ok, I took the wrong turn XD "Entitled" XD ... We -always- gave feedback on ANY games EVER made. Were a bug tracker for long years for different games 10 years ago. it would be "entitled" to cry for it to make the game easier... PPl used to do that, then 3 years of game industry spitted out tons of nerfed games without any challenge XDDDDD But campaigning or petitioning for minuscule changes that add more immersion, and absolutely optional is nothing "hideous" or bad sort. Maybe you don't really know much about software development, but feedback and communication were always part of the process, mate. And one of these things is, if someone takes away an option that originally were there usually creates ALOT of negative feedback from users. If you shitting on the feedback as a user... JUST becase "why someone wants it"... is outright hilarious. Anyway, people can sign this stuff if they want- even if there are no developers visiting this forum- still a tad more for the headcount.

Greetings, I am here because until now I just played the game, enjoyed it, and that's it, had no reason to be active on forums, BUT.... We were petitioning for a change to add the option to remove the unrealistic and stupid looking fanny pack secondary holster, but people found a workaround to remove it, with simply using your -legally saved- old outfits BEFORE the time you received that unrealistic and stupid looking fanny pack secondary holster. Yet the new patch DOES NOT ADD an option to remove the secondary holster, (like you can use "no bandolier", or the fact that you can -unequip- the secondary gun, but not it's holster...) but it kills the workaround we all used to remove it. The patch also removed all custom outfits saved BEFORE receiving the fanny-pack holster, meaning that content that were legally saved by the user, was removed.... So I am here to ask my questions, and search for support to make this very unreal (badly placed....) FORCED aesthetic that breaks the immersion for a lot of people, an OPTION instead of a forced change. -Bandoliers is selectable, you can use "no bandolier". -we had the option to remove this secondary holster, but you erased our legally saved old outfits that lacked it. -we have the option to remove the secondary gun, then we should have the option to get rid of the empty holster. -people who like this ugly fanny pack thing that noone used facing this way in the wild west, should have the option to wear it if they want, but this choice should not be forced on those who DISLIKE IT very much, and HAD the workaround to remove it, but you deleted their old outfits. -this option is a very small change, and can raise the immersion quite much + ppl used workarounds to get rid of it ALREADY. Give us back the choice to play without it, please. You will find my main topic about this in RDR 2 gameplay branch, together with a petition someone started for this cause.

You can add an even simplier solution: add a "no weapon" choice to the weapon wheel while selecting off-hand pistol, (like on the "on your back" weapon) then link the holster to it as well... No gun there, no need for a holster- does not show up. So no need to visit the gunsmith, no need to change the clothing menu... pick -any- solution, but give us BACK the freedom to remove it... (that you took, along with our LEGALLY saved outfits....)

There is a petition going around as well, but: We HAVE the option to remove the secondary pistol at the gunsmith, then why we do not have the option to remove that ugly and unrealistic secondary holster????????? Just one more line in the clothing options, like "no bandolier" at the bandoliers. "No secondary fanny pack holster" BOOOOM everyone happy. People started petitions about this, people found a workaround with saved outfits that were saved -before- receiving the holster, so they DOES NOT HAD that ugly, unrealisticly aligned forced thing, and used their old outfits to remove it, and played happily with this workaround. Yet the new patch DOES NOT add any option to remove the secondary (comical fanny pack..) holster, yet PATCHED the workaround, and removed outfits that were saved WITHOUT the fanny pack holster. !!!Basically removing content the user SAVED earlier in the game, that gave NO leverage. Removing user saved legal content.... ... See the problem here...? Please be sensible, people who, for some reason, love this absolutely unrealisticly placed and aligned fanny pack thing, could leave it turned "on", while you could make ALOT of people -very happy- if you would give us the option (that we even had, with a workaround, just -you patched it- and took it away....) to TAKE OFF the unused secondary holster. You can even link it to the gun itself, making sure that ppl can only remove the holster if they removed the gun first at the gunsmith, or any way you like... Just add one TINY LITTLE line at the clothing options, saying "no secondary holster". Please... This is a really stupid aesthetic, and very typically should be a customizable feature... So please make it selectable instead of forcing it, -absolutely- breaking the immersion for many people. SINCE YOU REMOVED THE WORKAROUND in the latest patch that -we- found for ourselves,......
