Ya know I guess I should be clear cuz I guess I wasn’t originally. I’m not a pussy. I’m not afraid to sit and have an endless gunfight till the dude gives up and runs away. But the reason I made this post was for the kids that look at the map and see me miles from where they’re at and track me down just to kill me for no reason while hunting or trying to do a mission. If I roll into town and I see some players in town I have a shotgun out and ready just in case they’re gonna be stupid but that’s fine if they shoot at me I shoot back. But what I hate is the posse that purposely camps on a mission start point and just hides behind sh*t like a coward till some Lone Ranger comes along to do the mission then they all pop out and shoot before he can defend himself then go back to hiding

Right we can wear boots under/over pants collars unbuttoned or buttoned shirt sleeves up or down so why can’t we wear our vests unbuttoned.. I just wanna do this.

I made a suggestion to R* that we be able to wear our vests unbuttoned open like a lot of the famous movie cowboys such as John Wayne or James Arness as Marshal Dillon anyone else down for that??

Defiantly worth pretty positive that’s just a part of the game and suppose to do that but I agree it shouldn’t move once I’m online. I halfway understand it being in a different location everytime I log on but once I’m on it shouldn’t move.. it did the same thing to me.. I spawned in tumbleweed cuz where I was when I got off and my camp was nearby when I got off so when I got on my camp was way up past annesburg so I rode all the way there like a dumbass instead of fast traveling and I was literally in annesburg like almost there and then bam “cripps has packed up your camp” and it wasn’t down by blackwater.. I was pissed. Another problem that really pisses me off is that I’ve paid to have my camp set up in new Austin and he put the camp in heartlands.. I was like uhhh wtf I just paid for that and didn’t even get what I wanted...

I don’t think anything is wrong with the amount of money you make on missions and selling pelts/animal parts and all that. The problem is that a lot of the guns are 600 or more and sh*t like that.. ok 20 bucks in the 1890s was really a decent amount of money and it’s not hard to make 20 bucks with 20 bucks (deer) lol but 405 bucks for a repeater is a bit much.. like I can make that much money but let’s be honest in 1899 a repeater wouldn’t have been that much. I can buy a Henry today for less than that... I think the rolling block rifle should be like 300 and nothing more than like 350.. the prices of everything else is a little more than it should be but it’s not bad... and clothing should be cheaper.. but otherwise the amount you can make isn’t inaccurate for the time just the prices of big items

Unfortunately I don’t have good news for you. My character is having the same exact issue I got a notification that I was at minimum weight so I did the same thing. I ate 35 cans of food 12 mature venison meats 6 stringy meats and even Andre of my horses apples and nothing. Still at minimum with my cores draining at 100%

Yea the sh*t talking is pretty bad.. I had a guy ride up to me the run off and was waiting for me up the trail a bit so I had my pump out in case he was gonna try anything then as I was approaching he said “you ain’t sh*t bro whatcha gonna do?” I didn’t even respond But before he was even able to get a gun out I got a headshot on him and killed him so yea I really ain’t sh*t 😂

Yea you know I think that’s really my issue with trolls. They’re chicken shits they camp out around mission start points hiding behind sh*t waiting for you or they do like you day and wait till they can shoot you in the back when they know you can’t do anything back to them real quick or they wait for you to go afk while getting a drink or somthing then come kill you. They don’t face you head on cuz they’re too scared and know they’ll lose

Oh and go on the defense and kill them first? Hmmm wow I would’ve never thought of that! What a great idea cuz you can totally kill 3 guys and get to the mission start point before they respawn and come back! Wow I must be an idiot for not thinking of that before! Why don’t you try it and come back and tell me how it works out for you. Id bet money you get 2 of 3 down and then those will have respawned by time you get the 3rd down then your in the same predicament that you were before you started. And MAYBE I’m bored with single player. I have a million dollars and nothing else to buy or unlock so I’m sorry I enjoy the idea of creating a character and actually having sh*t to work for and unlock now! But hey guys I guess all of us that are like me and hate trolls have to stop playing cuz this dudes obviously from R* and has all the answers and he says not to play the game anymore if we don’t like the idiots that aren’t even playing right.

So essentially what your telling me is that those of us that want to play the game the right way and actually play the mini games the way they were intended to be played should just get off and never play again cuz we don’t like the **** offs that are just there to be a di*k? So you want me to just play single player cuz I play the game right and I’m respectful of players that are just minding their own business but it’s totally alright for the ****in idiots to just keep on playing cuz they’re just doing a wonderful job?

Yea I know rockstar won’t but it’d great if they disabled the ability to kill eachother during the games that have nothing to do with killing eachother. Friendly fire should definitely be off during story missions. Trolls piss me off more than anything. Some people just enjoy running around killing everyone they see. I get that. But there’s a very large number of us that want to play the game right and be able to do what we want without being worried about encountering another player out on the trail.. like fr im constantly checking my map when im going somewhere just to make sure there isn’t a posse about to roll up on me or waiting at my destination for people. There needs to be a passive mode so you can continue to do whatever you want but other players can’t hurt you and the passive mode would stay on unless you attack a player.

Very long rant ahead 😂 First let me start by saying I love the game. Single player isn’t lacking stuff to do and online is honestly a lot better than I expected but honestly I’ll tell ya my 2 biggest issues with RDO. Trolls. And lack of good paying jobs. I completely understand that the game is meant for you have a posse and run around like a boss but it gets annoying quick when I’m trying to go into a town to do a mission and there’s a posse just camping there by the mission waiting to kill me everytime I try to come up to it so I just get killed over and over again. Also one of the free roam games is called archery master or something like that and the whole point is to run around shooting these targets with your bow and arrow and you get points by accuracy and distance from target. The game has nothing to do with killing eachother yet everytime I play it there’s like 30 players doing it and maybe 5 people are playing the game. The other 25 are running around with shotguns like it’s a deathmatch just killing everyone and it’s really really annoying. There’s literally a death match mode for that so wtf. Then not only that but I deal with that for the 10-15 minutes the game lasts and all I get is 1 gold nugget and like a dollar 50🙄 which brings me to my next point. The lack of good money/gold. Just like gta online the prices of everything are outrageous and the pay for games and missions are at the minimum forcing me to do one of 2 things. Either use real money and do microtransactions once those are available or quit my job so I can play the game 40 hours a week for weeks on end so I can buy a damn hat or something. I’m all for working for the money I don’t want it handed to me in one mission. BUT I shouldn’t have to no life for 3 days just to make 100 bucks and that won’t even buy me anything except food and ammo..

Without even trying my honor is all the way up I guess😂 idk how cuz I’m doing stupid stuff all the time but yea stuck at 75% with no more missions which kind of sucks cuz what do I do now... I’m tired of doing stranger missions they’re all pretty similiar and don’t pay crap.. I mean I can do the death match stuff or races I guess but otherwise I’m gonna be pretty bored till the actual online launches. Have we heard when that may be??

So I started playing Red Dead online the other day when it was released it’s loads of fun but there is a few glitches/bugs I’ve encountered that really pissed me off I may make a new topic for that. Anyway I did about 6 missions for Horley the last one being the one at Fort Mercer but since then no more missions have popped up other than stranger/Alden and other little side missions like that. Why haven’t any new story missions come up for me yet? I’ve been running around for 2 real life days just doing those side missions waiting for a real actual paying mission to come up but nothing. Is this a glitch on my end or was there only a set amount of missions for the beta and the rest will start popping up after the actual release??
