DLC and special edition content content not working

Did anyone manage to sort these issues out? Bought the ultimate edition on PS4 last week, redeemed the voucher using my supplied code, installed the content yet none of it actually appears in the game. im upto chapter 3 but can't access the free weapons, the thoroughbred horse, the clothes or talismans etc.
