  1. I don't think its a major problem. More just a case of people having one or two bad experiences then going online to have a cry about it. Coz thats the world we live in now days bunch off snowflakes that cry and sook at the 1st sign of something not going there way. Now don't get me wrong. I myself have had a few run ins with what i guess yous would call griefers. But its not like its hard to fix, i personally like to go the old "dont get mad get even" and just kill them several times which if you are dealing with griefers should be easy I'm no pro player but I've had posses of 4 attack me for no reason and I've come out on top if i was trying to attack them life would have been harder but since they were coming for me easy to defend against other players. Now i haven't read the tips and trick thread so i dont know but the main reason for this is because if a player or group off players is trying to attack and kill you for no reason defence is the key. I just set up and let them come . I had a bloke watch me catch a fish it was taking me ages to wind in and right when it was about to be caught he head shotted me and somehow killed my horse it was abit annoying but why have a cry about it. I simply just went back found him and killed him and after killing him a few times he took off and never returned. And if you don't want to or can't kill them simply log into another server or parley
  2. Yeah i lost only near the dock at blackwater and i wasn't even going that hard on it .
  3. Ok so started up near brandywine drop just before 10am real time set my marker for sea of coronado i started with 159 miles traveled. I rode only using the trails, i arrived at 10:32am real time and finished with 168 miles traveled (so roughly 9 miles from one edge of the map to the other thats gotta be wrong) using real time it would take 50 hours of non stop riding at a avg to fast speed to get this award. To get the crime award for drag an enemy with a lasso it would take 5 hours of draging enemy's to get the 100miles and once again thats at a fast trot . Now if its 50 hours on horse back to get the 1000miles you could quite easily say to get 1000miles on foot would easily be double that (minimum) as horses easily travel at twice the speed if not more. .on top of that you need 100 miles in a canoe,1000miles by train ,100 miles in a coach,100 miles as a passenger on a coach. . .now awards aside as I'm guessing no one really cares to much about awards to say/class that distance as only 9 miles must be wrong and they need to fix there travel counter
  4. O ok fair enough thanks for your help. .as long as its slow for everyone and its not just a bug where my mile counter is not working. . just seems abit dumb in solo riding from the top right of the map (brandywine drop) to the bottom left (sea of coronado) was roughly 500 miles now I'm getting 20 miles if I'm lucky seems odd surely they dont want to treat the hole map aa if its only 20 miles long i still feel like something is going on going to do the ride now and get the actual miles for the map again online and post up what my counter is giving me for the trip
  5. I think the mile counter online is broken mile awards (distance based awards) are much easier in solo
  6. But that should only be 25 hours of game time to ride from one side to the other takes days (ingame) and yet is only classed as 20 miles?
  7. Looking for some active aussie players to join the kelly gang
  8. Hey guys Been trying to get the rdr2 online award for traveling 1000 miles on horse back is anyone else having trouble getting the distance based awards. I traveled from one edge of the map to the other (bottom left all the way to the top right) and got hardly any miles. Like less then 20miles this cant be right?
