Sourdough Jack

I understand (from watching a video) that if you switch to your knife as your being lassoed, you'll cut yourself free immediately. This should give you a quick opportunity to pull out your shotgun and say "howdy" right back. I haven't tested this method, as I haven't run into this type of fool recently. If this is an effective method and is used more frequently, perhaps this stupidity will end.
