I'm level 20 trader and have never had this happen. probably because 99% of the time my camp isn't setup, because cripps packs it up 30 seconds after I leave it and then the game refuses to let me redeploy it.

For prarie chicken check: - Around Valentine (the grassy areas south of valentine, and also east of valentine between valentine and emerald ranch) - Great plains area right outside blackwater

There's generally 3 or so places that treasure can spawn. The game spawns all 3 treasure chests, but only one will have the treasure in it (it will be the one with the yellow glow coming off of it in eagle eye)
