i play PC and i am having this same problem, i cant open coin maps or any map that requires a shovel or metal detector. I have tried everything and nothing works, when i try and look on the Jean ropke map (https://jeanropke.github.io/RDR2CollectorsMap/) and go to a location where a coin ,necklace or family heirloom is supposed to be my metal detector does not make any noise or give me the prompt to dig anything up. if i go to the location of something that only requires a shovel and not a metal doctor, i can see the dirt pile but the game does not give me an option to actually dig anything up. Just a side note, i am level 146 and 77 i am also level 20 in collector role on both accounts
