  1. I guess I'm different. I love RDR2 but I absolutely hated God of War and AC Odyssey. I thought Shadow of War was okay but nothing really special. I love Fallout 2, 3, and thought 4 was decent. I love The Last of Us. I love Skyrim. Witcher 3 is incredible. I cannot stand Action RPG games for the life of me. I know God of War received great praise but I couldn't play more than 20 minutes of it before saying to myself "ugh I hate this kind of boring action hack and slash games with a little RPG dust thrown in". I know this is a little off-topic but different people like different games. I think RDR2 is probably the best game I've ever played other than games like Fallout 2 and 3, Baldur's Gate 2, etc. The real classics. And Witcher 3 is in a class of it's own, but still enjoy RDR2 more.
  2. 9.5 from me and the only reason why it's not a 10 is because of the criminal and bounty system. - Graphics, character interaction, story, music, sound, gun gameplay are all top notch for me - Controls are fine for me and honestly don't know why so many people think they're clunky. - Missions are fine, although I would rather have an interface that shows me Main missions vs Side Missions without me having to go look it up online - Criminal and Bounty system needs work IMO But I still almost gave it a 10/10 because the amount of options, the gameplay, the types of systems they have in place, the graphics, and the immersion outweigh the minor negatives that are in this masterpiece.
  3. See the only thing I really want fixed is when you're defending yourself. If someone starts shooting me or holds me up to rob me, and I fire back and kill them, I don't want to have a damn bounty. That's just stupid. LET ME DEFEND MYSELF FFS.
  4. Sorry but "Always kill the witness" is garbage when you're so far away from them that you HAVE to use a scope to headshot them. Trust me I was far away. You could only really see them with binoculars zoomed in or a sniper scope. And to be even more realistic, I only fired 1 shot. That was it. But they still knew it was me. How could they possibly know it was me, let alone the lawmen were behind me on horseback in 10-15 seconds.

  6. Couple of things regarding this: 1. The criminal system is in fact flawed but not to the point of what the OP is talking about. You can actually get into a fist fight and as long as you don't loot the NPC you beat up, then you're fine. I have done this time and time again. Anytime someone provoked me I waited until they threw the first punch and then I destroyed them. Just don't shoot them. 2. The problem I have is when I see a murder happen at a camp along the road and I go to investigate myself. The aggressive NPC will then challenge me and pull out his gun, he starts shooting me, I kill him and then if a passerby sees this, he flags ME for murder instead of letting me explain what happened. This is a problem. 3. I setup myself on a ridge with a sniper rifle and was shooting at this one passerby that was VERY far away. One shot in the head and killed him. His friend (who couldn't possibly know where I was) started investigating and about 30 seconds later I was flagged for murder and then 10 seconds later I had 6 lawmen behind me waiting on horseback. That was ridiculous.
  7. I'll give you two scenarios and you make your own judgments. I think the system needs alot of work to be honest. Scenario 1: I'm riding down the road and I see a camp alongside the road. As I approach I hear someone in the camp cry for help, and then I hear the sound of someone dying. I stop and there was another NPC that killed a man. When I approach he says "You don't want to concern yourself with this." So I move closer and he draws his gun, I then draw mine, he starts shooting and I kill him. Two passerby's are coming along and they see me and two dead bodies there. I didn't move, I didn't loot, I didn't pick up any bodies. I froze looking at them. They didn't ask any questions and the Investigating started flashing and then boom, Murder - Arthur Morgan. That is a problem. I was defending myself and he shot first. They didn't even let me explain ..I didn't make any sudden moves at all. No questions asked, just flagged me for Murder. Scenario 2: I crossed a pretty wide river and set up with a snipe rifle on the other side of a river in a hidden spot inside of a electrical tower structure. I crouch down, get out my rifle and wait. I watch in the distance (and we're talking a pretty far away distance), two men on horse walking on the road. I set up my sights, aim for one of the men and take ONE shot. Boom to the head. Killing him. I took out my binoculars and checked and he was definitely dead. I did not fire any other shots. I get the Investigating flashing for a GOOD 30 seconds and then it changed to Murder - Arthur Morgan. Within 10 seconds, I turn around and there are 6 lawmen behind me on horseback. UMMM WHAT? Are you serious right now? There is no way they knew WHERE I was or that it was even me who killed the man. I was very far away on the other side of the river. This system needs some serious work.
