Funny haha or funny strange?

I'm trying to accumulate needed items for camp upgrades or satchel upgrades. Have to hold on to them until I have all the needed items.

It happens even if you don't loot them.

I have already lost one legendary pelt when I was killed. Is there any place at camp I can safely store perfect and legendary pelts until I need to use them. Hate to be riding around with them on the horse knowing that I will lose them if I get killed.

I'm being robbed and then shot at. I shoot back in self defense and kill the robber. Someone sees me do it and reports me to the law and now there is a bounty on me for murder? WTF?
