De-judder not only ruins your image quality. It introduces a HUGE input lag as well. I can only imagine what it means in a game that is not as responsive. I think if it's OK for you, I can't argue.

The ONLY way I see you can "increase" your performance by setting your TV would be if you turn on the True Motion. That said, I wonder how anyone who plays with such garbage TV feature could complain about image quality.

They've killed for the online mode, but not the story. However, I do think they have tweaked the game somehow since I got better frame rates now. Also, as I have said before, the upscaling process is slightly better, which I think it gives a slightly crisp Image. Maybe that's the impression you're having with the image.

Well, the patch notes says that they have fixed some PS4 glitches. I can assure that there was a slight improvement in upscale technique. I have taken some SS in the same places with the same time of day and weather conditions before and after the update. But like I said, it was a slight improvement and most people might not even notice.

Wow! You're right. Being complaining over and over among people that already acknowledge the issue it's really a huge contribution. Keep on!

@Dubya75 I've said that I acknowledge the issue. I just tried to say that sharpness by itself doesn't turn a game into a totally crap. I really hope that R* fix the issue asap. I just found it's so silly when people start to make foolish comparisons with other games..

Sorry to disappoint you, but that was just a generic answer given by R*Intel on October 30th. There's nothing proving that they have indeed acknowledged the blur or even the HDR issues..

Come on... grow up! It's seems that sharpness is the only thing that matters for you guys. That's insane. I have also switched to HZD and, aside from the reality crisp graphics, it's doesn't look anything like RDR2. RDR is WAY better, more real, more detailed and way more jaw-dropping. I acknowledge that RDR2 is indeed blurry though.

It is hazy, but that is not a technical issue. It's the director's intent to play with DoF that way. Maybe we'll all gonna have to deal with it. The issue with PRO it's a lot worse than that because of the upscaling method applied. Just take a look in the SS I've posted and see the edges in 4k mode.

Hey, guys! It's easy to find out if it's a placedo. Just take a SS when in 4k mode. The upscale technique used by R* since patch 1.02 has jaggies all over the place. Take a look:

I would like to know if it's true. If so, I don't believe it was made on purpose and it means that the issue can be fixed.

Oh, my.. Is the crisp Image the only thing you guys are worried about? That's not the only thing that make a game look beautiful. Yes, you will get a crisp Image on 1080p in RDR2, but you will lost A LOT of fine details and will get a significantly reduced distance view as well. That's not a fair trade-off IMO.

Hey, folks! I've said before that the blurring image is not a big deal, but I must admit that it may be for some of you (it's still not a big deal for me though). I did some tests, as you suggested, and though it's something really bad going on, it's not related to motion blur as some of you insist, so it will help nothing if R* give us the option to turn it off in future patches). The issue is indeed with the upscaling process as some folks already pointed here. I realized that if you start the game in 1080p, as someone here said to do, and switch it back to 4k during the game it really will make the edges better, though you lost some fine details overall. So I think it's indeed the best option for you guys that can't play because of the blurring.
