    Thanks for the insight, everyone. One more question, if I may, that canoe we buy via the ledger... can it be lost? 'Cause I hit on island in the middle of the river, shortly after hitting chapter 3 (where you find the tricorn) and my canoe disappeared.

    Has anybody encountered any missions that disappear as the storyline advances? Bank Heists? Robberies? I want to make sure I don't miss anything.
