Can’t stand horse mechanics.

I was just wondering if anyone else is finding the horse riding mechanics to be a bit out of whack? I feel like I’m constantly struggling with the controls to the point that I find the game almost unbearable. Are there any settings or ways to adjust this?

I love them! What problems are you having specifically? Also what's your system?

PS4 Pro. I’ve tried on both of my consoles (we have 2 ps4 pros) and I’m encountering the same problems. The controls just feel super laggy and the horses are constantly moving as though they were drunk with no consistencies in the paths. I’ve encountered so many times where I would be turning left and they would do a complete 180 by going right. Or times where I’d be pushing the analog stick away from a tree and the horse would run directly straight into it... it completely ruins exploration...
