Presistent posse glitch PC

So for some reason there seems to be a glitch with the presistent posse. When I used the temporary posse to play with friends there was no issue. But then I decided to waste $200+ on making a presistent posse only for it to not work. At all. Struggle my ass off to get the camp pitched and when I eventually get it pitched I still cannot invite my friends or change any of the settings such as making it Open or Invite only, or switching friendly fire off or on. I switch a setting and it automatically switches back. Anyone else having the problem on PC? Tried to do some research but could not find anyone with the problem recently (this month since the pc release). Would appreciate any help.
