L1 makes me look behind instead of interacting

so my issue is that whenever i restart and im in the first chapter and i need to pick up my gun in the barn after the fight well i can't. ive tried so many stuff like changing the controls and ive looked everywhere and i cant find a control to stop looking behind when i press L1. does someone know if i missed a command that changes it?

update: with the standard control I can pick up the gun by pressing on the right joystick but L1 still makes me look behind. wtv I can still play and what ever the control that L1 was supposed to do, switch it with the control that was supposed to look behind
