How do I use R* Editor?

So for years I’ve played GTA 5 and it was only sometime in 2022 I started started playing Red Dead Online. 

I’ve played the story mode of Red Dead 1 & 2 but I’ve never really played online mode nor have I used any of the other features.

A friend of mine convinced me to make one of those Instagram pages to share gameplay videos and photos, however I have no clue on how to record clips for Rockstar Editor.

I know how to record clips on GTA 5 and I know how to live stream for Youtube but how do I record a clip and edit it through Rockstar Editor on RDR 2 and RDO?

Please can somebody help me? I am so confused, I even searched it Google and YouTube and found no answers!
