PC Keyboard Issue

Just started playing RDR2 on pc using standard keyboard and mouse.

When riding through the snow and prompted to catch up using L, pushing L just brings up a menu window.

Not sure what's happening. Can anyone help?

All settings are on Default.

Edit : Now realised that "L" means the Left Shift key.🙂
