It’s spooky season in the wild, wild west – Red Dead Online is once again embracing the Halloween spirit with a month-long celebration featuring familiar favorites, enticing rewards for dedicated players and (gasp!) new content?!
Leading the charge are the new Bodyguard Telegram Missions, a trio of assignments that challenge players to protect clients in various scenarios. From escorting a driver through treacherous territory to defending a novice hunter from poachers and wildlife, these missions offer fresh adventures and double the usual rewards through November 4.
The return of All Hallows’ Call to Arms brings an intense, supernatural twist to the game. Players face off against waves of otherworldly and human enemies, aided by the mysterious powers of the Night Stalker Mask. Those brave enough to take on this challenge will earn doubled RDO$, Gold, XP, and Ability Card XP throughout October.
The Halloween Pass 2, a 15-rank upgrade system available until November 4, allows players to unlock a haunting array of masks, blood-spattered outfits, and sinister accessories. Items earned during the pass will remain in players’ inventories even after it ends.
Moonshiners can take advantage of double RDO$, XP, and Role XP for completing Moonshiner Story Missions and Sales through November 4. Completing a Moonshiner Sale during this period rewards players with the sleek black Morales Vest, while destroying a Revenue Agent Blockade grants 30 Repeater Express Ammo and a Moonshine Mash Refill.
The Featured Series appropriately brings back the fan-favorite Fear of the Dark and Dead of Night modes, offering double RDO$ and XP, with winning players receiving a 50% discount on any weapon of their choice.
Fashion-forward outlaws can acquire a community-inspired outfit curated by YouTuber xXx Queen Inferno xXx, with clothing pieces available for free from the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue and masks from Madam Nazar.
Weekly and monthly rewards include unique clothing items, such as the orange Porter Jacket for logging in during October and the black Folwell Hat for playing between October 29 and November 4. Limited-time clothing items, like the Shaffer Chaps, Clymene Coat, Benbow Jacket, and various top hats, will be available for purchase until November 4.
Players can also take advantage of discounts on Moonshine Shack improvements, Bar Décor, Madam Nazar’s Halloween masks, select horse breeds, weapons, customization options, and clothing items. Despite teases and leaks from Rockstar, the release date for the Red Dead Redemption PC port remains unknown.
