  1. First of all a happy new year to everybody, especially if you are annoyed by all the Rdr2 graphics past and present! 😬 Does this mean red and dead that the graphics and blur and hdr problems have been fixed? Let me know!
  2. After considering all things and putting 2 and 2 together I came to the conclusion that I expect that RDR2 will probably be fixed for good on the PS5! They will probably make it one of the selling points for the new console. Remastered or at least graphicly improved and/or enhanced with a new form of anti aliasing and off course 4k and true hdr! So I won't expect a final solution myself anymore, but more of a alternative in the form of a PS5. Profit is a bitch when you know it is all and only about making money! Also (and this has nothing to do with the hdr/blur problems), after watching a certain YouTube video, I came to the conclusion that the RDR2 game design isn't that revolutionary as many think. Watch this video and make up your own mind: Rockstars game design is outdated! Also I noticed that the self proclaimed "employee of Rockstar" has been quiet, so that means that he doesn't know anymore what to say because of the lack of any true solution or he stopped trolling! 👎
  3. This has nothing to do with the blur/hdr problems, but i wanted to mention for those having also great frustrations about the online part, it got an update which seem to balance out a lot of things. First patch for online BTW i also noticed the number of pages went down with 20 and i have no clue how nor why!
  4. How great to read you are having so much fun over all these problems and our frustrations! You my friend should be banned from this forum with your poisoning sarcasm and malicious pleasures!

I think Rockstar is busy with damage control, by not officially acknowledging HDR problems because there are some gullible players, who don't see nor care about any HDR problems/graphics problems. There are always people who don't know what is going on and don't have the capability to see it and thus are surprised that other observant people do see it and make (in there eyes) a fuss over it! That is a very sneaky way to cover up there own lack and/or ability and/or willingness to address the issues! As a saying goes: let sleeping dogs lie. And I think that is the main reason why Rockstar haven't officially acknowledge it in the open!
  6. I am very curious how the patch above changes the graphics problems. I have the ultimate edition but no ps4 pro yet, so i can't test it myself! Patch 1.03
  7. This gives me some hope again: https://www.gamerevolution.com/guides/460027-red-dead-redemption-2-hdr-patch-when-is-it-coming Quote: "RockstarINTEL has reported that Rockstar has officially acknowledged the issue, saying: “We are currently hard at work fixing [the issues].”
  8. I am sorry, but to much of a coincidence to me! I mentioned him and he replied! Don't keep your hopes up to much, I figure there is a 50/50 change he is really from Rockstar. Normally a employee would prove they are from Rockstar. When you look at his posts you can conclude he created the account to only follow this thread. Now I did the same, but I am not claiming to be from Rockstar! 🤨 There are many forms of trolling, and the worse one is to give people false hope! BE WARNED!
  9. The campsite patch will be fixed, as someone here mentioned they acknowledged that. I am afraid to say that the person who claims to be from Rockstar, seems to make more sense to me by the day. It appears to be like he says, they don't see HDR/blur problems as being a priority. Rockstar made a very crustal mistake in which they refuse to listen to us customers! I will hold on to my PS4 Ultimate edition and if nothing will be patch, I will sell it to some other gullible gamer, who still has faith in this company who starts to irritating me more by the day! If a Rockstar employee reads this, he will say "then we are still making a huge profit, so no harm done (to us)"!
  10. I personally never said it was an unfinished product, I said it has problems that need to be fixed! Someone mentioned that he was wondering how it passed quality inspection. I do wonder this myself. The reason why they are working hard on a online mode is because that will give them extra customers and fixing there own graphics mess won't by definition. However, it could be true that they will come up with something temporal as a fix, when they release the online portion of the game. Because a lot of people don't care for single player only multiplayer and that would create an additional portion of customers that would complain over that part of the game (online part). If I was a kid I would be using a cartoon picture as my avatar.😛
  11. Not stupid, I understand your frustrations so much and you try to contribute to the problem! I share your frustrations and with you so many others! Even more so because you bought the game digitally! I don't share any experience with the game (yet), but I understand that the graphics destroy the gameplay for you. A game should in all circumstances give all players the same experience, no matter what TV they are using! Rockstar shot itself in the foot with these big technical problems they created. Don't hazzle or con us buyers with fake HDR and some terrible implemented upscaling method. Look at other games who can do it right, no doubt about it they ****ed it up (excuse my french) themselves! The thing is Rockstar isn't proactive, they are waiting to see how players react on certain issues and if they feel it isn't a "major issue", then they act like they don't know or it's not a priority in there eyes. They are only interested in what makes money and patching graphics won't sell them more games (we already bought it), so they focus on things that will make people buy it more (Online part). A arrogant money grubbing company that sells there products and act like it's not about the profit only the players and creating things for them! It is the oldest trick in the book, act like you do it for people and the money will flow in (800 million plus)! I am afraid the real RDR2 will come with the PS5, since the PS4 can't match up to the power of the Xbox to fully run 4K. Understandable because the Xbox One X came a year later then the PS4 Pro. In my opinion if they would have updated the PS4 Pro to match the XOX, we would have noticed many graphics issues a lot less. Because I read somewhere they will probably overhaul the graphics for RDR2 for the PS5: https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/gaming/1043709/PS5-release-date-UPDATE-PS4-news-Sony-PlayStation-5: "The good news is that a huge game is reportedly in the works for the PlayStation 5. According to recent reports, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be getting a serious upgrade on next-gen hardware. This will likely coincide with the game being ported to PC, as well as a new version being launched on the next wave of consoles."
  12. HI Guys, I am new to the forum and just signed up and I did this to contribute to this topic. I must say that I to am very surprised and shocked how this all went down with RDR2. The game was very hyped and now it all seems that the game isn't as good (technically) as many believe it is. It might be good on some areas, but to promote a game like that with HDR and 4K, thus later on appears to be fake HDR, is a grave mistake. Most of the reviews I saw or read, never mentioned this at all. You see, most people won't notice it because A) they can't see the difference or B) don't care that much. Also on this forum there seem to be a couple of posters that like to troll with these things or even claiming they work at Rockstar (this still needs to be proven). It is a real issue and should be address by RockStar ASAP, not only for them self, but more so for all those buyers that feel let down. So please stop posting TV settings that although it could change the look a bit, will never fix the real issue. It is like taking pain medication for something that needs to be addressed with surgery! A work a round for the time being! I have the game (Ultimate Edition for PS4) and yes I pre-ordered it, but if they won't fix these issues then I will resell it. I don't own a PS4 nor Xbox, but I would like too, yet the way this went down with RDR2 is so very unprofessional. I am disappointed in them and there product and it appears that either A) they don't care and won't fix it (soon) or B) they are working on some big patch that will fix most. Personally, I think there priority is the online part of the game, not the graphics or look of it. As many mentioned, other games have implemented there upscalling and HDR implementation correctly. Spiderman for instance! So this is not a PS4 issue, but a game issue! They focused on the wrong things with this game in my opinion and because they sold and will continue to sell so many copies of the game, I fear they don't care that much about technical issues a portion (the smarter amount) of people are experiencing. Also the fact that some support people at Rockstar act like they don't know what we (consumers) are talking about, is an strong sign they A) don't care or B) try to cover it up. I read somewhere they didn't want to use actors that are very famous because of ego troubles. But yet I know Rockstar is known as being a very arrogant company that thinks the world of them self and do things they want, not how we want them. RDR2 is the latest example of how things go with Rockstar and I can only say that I hope for all of use they will officially acknowledge these HDR/blurr/upschale/antiallising issues ASAP!
