I purchased the lock breaker from the fence as soon as I opened the fence. I'm on my second playthrough. On my first playthrough the lock breaker is in my item wheel with binoculars and camera. In my newest playthrough the lock breaker is in my satchel, it shows I have purchased from the fence and wont let me purchase another one but has vanished from my item wheel. I'm saying item wheel as holding down LB just so I'm clear. I noticed this after previous update.

So I go to the location where the Semi Auto Shotgun is and I get the prompt to "hold X to loot" I hold X and the white circle fills As soon as it's done I turn to open gun case and nothing happens I can do this over and over but I never open the case I do not already own the gun either. Currently in Chapter 3. Anyone have a fix that doesn't involve reloading?

I cannot believe I FINALLY found an answer to this. The exact same thing happened to me in exact same spot as OP. Thank you! You wouldn't believe how many Legendary Fish Guides came up instead a solution to this problem. I had to make a profile just so I could say Thanks.
