Maybe if you complain enough, they'll give us passive mode against NPCs and animals too. I personally hope they just replace all the guns in the game with water guns.
I got a nice bit of time put in online. I've only had 2 encounters with trolls. Once I deserved it as I didn't realize I was picking herbs within a couple hundred feet of a rival mission that I could intercept. The other was when me and some randoms were hunting in an area and someone started sniping this one guy. He respawned and had though I was the one shooting him. In any case, both fights were over before the parley system even kicked in. If you can't fight back, can't make friends to play with, or want to explore. Go back to single player. That or Candy Crush.
