For anybody that had their DLC horses replaced with a Tennessee Walker, try simply re entering the codes for the DLC items in playststion store and downloading and installing them again. It worked for me.

I preordered the Ultimate Edition, which gave me two bonus DLC horses. An Ardennes War Horse and a Dabble Black thoroughbred race horse. 50+ hours into the game, these horses have become an integral part of my experience. I customized my wardrobe and tack to match their coats. But I go to play last night, and BOTH of these horse have been replaced by a bag of bones Tennessee Walker. The one that I was riding (War Horse) when i saved, AND the one that was in the stable (race horse) have BOTH been replaced by the TW horse. The TW horse now occupies both of my previous horses names, custom tack and stable spots. The special DLC horses are not available at Valentine stable to repurchase for $0 (with no name and 0 bonding), as some have reported. I could totally live with that, if it were the case. My war horse was hitched to a post beside the Rhodes saloon. I slept in hotel room till morning, and made a hard save before quitting the game. Reload last night to the TW horse. Plus the one that was stabled is a TW now as well. Also, this soul crushing glitch persists across ALL, of my previous hard saves. I basically paid $40 extra for these horses, came to really love playing with them over 50 hours, then had them taken away from me, inexplicably. I feel like I’ve been robbed. In 30+ years of gaming, this is the most outrageous glitch I’ve ever encountered.
