Hello Anyone else having issues with the latest updates and free stuff from RS? We have a couple of family accounts. Each has their own PSN sign in and we each have a year paid PS Plus membership. All got the raccoon hat but only one member got the 10 bars of gold for having a two step verification active. Two members got notification that they got 10 bars of gold but didn't actully get the bars. Only one member got the three treasure maps for the PS Plus membership and none of us got the free care packages from RS for this latest update, despite each being at levels 26 / 32 /16 - I have tried to submit a ticket to RS but it just keeps returning me to the start page where you select which game you are requesting help with. We did send a tweet to RS support so hopefully they get back to us.

Hello All First, let me say how much I am enjoying RDR Online now that we can protect ourselves better against the griefers. It is so nice to be able to ride around and just explore - engage in NPC missions and side events without worry of the kiddies killing you all the time for no reason. I do wish there was something to be done about the little shites looting the bodies after you work so hard to clear a gang hideout or protect a campsite. It is quite frustrating that they can swoop in like vultures and loot your spoils but .. ah well - I have to be grateful for the upgrades they have made. I do need some advice though about shooting in general. When I play the free roam events I die all the time. I try and fight back and I will shoot and shoot and shoot at another player but they do not die. I end up getting killed after firing several times at someone. Do they have an ability card that I do not have or am I just missing something about the aiming and shooting process? Are headshots the only way to kill another player in these events? I tried using Dead Eye but it drains so quickly and I usually end up getting killed by a player behind me while I am trying to focus on someone else. What are the tricks, guys? I am so new to video games and hopefully I will get better in time. Cheers

Thanks to all of you for your replies. I guess I will have to just keep my guard up at all times but it makes it a bit stressful. If I am honest, I can recover from being shot but they go for my horse deliberately and that does actually make me a bit angry. I know they are supposed to pay a damage fee but they don't seem to care. Thank you for the advice and hopefully RS will improve this all with the upcoming Spring update.

Hi All Just wondered if anyone has been experiencing this lately; If I understand correctly red blipped players who are tagged as hostile or aggressive (likely to shoot you or your horse on sight) are more visible from a greater distance on the player map so you can hopefully avoid them and ride the other way. But recently I have found that there are only a couple of red blips, the rest blue but the blue players are actually aggressive and showing up out of nowhere. You dont see them until it is too late and they are shooting you in the face and then taking down your horse. Is this some kind of new glitch or have the Griefers found a way around the only system us non aggressive players have of avoiding the carnage? It is pretty defeating. I have actually put the game down until the new update happens in hopes I can actually play without my horse and I dying every 15 seconds. Maybe I am just misunderstanding how the red / purple / blue colours work.
