Another pointless reply off rockstar

There’s been over 16,000 views on this thread so there’s clearly people not happy with the game we should try and get everyone on here to tweet rockstar with the link to the digital foundry video and the hashtag #fixyourgame They should notice us 😂

Is it just me or do they not seem to make that much of an issue of it? They seem more bothered about frame rate

Don’t accept their “it’s your tv/console” bullsh*t make sure you tell them it’s the game

I have just had this reply from rockstar after allegedly “investigating” it as you can see from my response I’m not happy with it

Yeah I was going to say it dosent look blurry on that screen on the tv

When it wants to it looks stunning

Same as what they told me not really admitting or denying there’s a problem

I genuinely think it will be patched and sooner rather than later we just have to keep on at them

I think the noise now is Loud enough for them to fix it in some way if this was any other game I wouldn’t be bothered but this is the game of the generation some people have been waiting 8 years this is rockstar there is no excuse the bar is high with them espcially when you see games like god of war Spider-Man horizon and even Detroit look incredible the checkerbording isn’t an excuse Sony marketed this game as lead on PS4 and “play in 4K” i don’t care or want it to look as good as the Xbox one X because it can’t but I don’t expect some bullsh*t blurring issue which detracts from what is one of the best games ever made and what’s even more annoying is between this intermitant blur I get the game looks stunning, it’s teasing me of what it SHOULD look like hopefully now with people shouting loud enough and now that main outlets like IGN are reporting on it we should have a patch soon

Can everyone try the L1 and r1 and report back

I have been onto rockstar at the minute and i am having a very strange chat the guy doesn’t seem to know what’s going on he did however suggest this press L1 and r1 when game boots up and clears the cache I must say it didn’t look blurry when it loaded however my blur is intermittent i will attach my full chat transcript if people want to try the l1 r1 and let me know if it’s worked for them as you you can see he didn’t want to commit to anything

Seen a couple of them that second solution with the brightness settings is silly it’s nothing to do with that i wonder if it’s also a texture loading issue

Ok so Iv played all day and Iv come to some conclusions the blur is defiantly not constant and I believe it is dependant on a number of factors such as lighting I find that a lot of times I get blurry images is in buildings and it’s normally background images (il attach an example) i believe this is due to a depth of field issue and that the focus is on the player and not the background causing the blur (I believe this to be separate to the serious intermitant blurring I was having) i have seen people suggest don’t turn the automatic settings on for resolution I have mine set at 4K yuv if anyone else has any theories let me know but as of now I find it playable and at times gorgeous but I have just accepted the intermitant blur
