Wrong. EVERY OTHER 4K HDR game look NOTHING like this. this is the first one I’ve seen with this problem. again.... UNCHARTED 4 in 4K HDR looks amazingly sharp on my tv. its the way ROCKSTAR “UTILIZED” checkerboard. xbone guys... thanks for your input... we haven’t heard that one yet. L & R Did nothing. held it from the time I hit X to lad the game and then again when it said hit x to start story. Looks exactly the same. I really want to know the REFRESH RATE of the TV YOU are using from EVERYONE who posts here. I can guess by some of the comments. But this is VERY important!!!!! Uncharted 4 will look like sh*t in 4K at 120hz EVERYTHING looks like sh*t in “4K” at 120hz!!!! Even XBOX1X GAMES!!! (1280p doesn’t show as bad at 120hz) im about to start the 240hz and up thread because this information is a big mess in these threads without knowing every component you’re working with!!! uncharted 4 on the pro at 240hz and up ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION WITHOUT A DOUBT looks better than RDR2 on the same setup!!!!! PERIOD.

Really wish my post wouldn’t have instantly got pushed way up. it is important that EVERYONE in this conversation be on a 240hz or higher TV. The cheap Walmart “4K” TV’s will make an xboneX look blurry and motion blurred!!!! EVEN 4k movies LOOK THAT WAY on those cheap POSs!!! the guy who said uncharted looks worse is WRONG. Uncharted 4 on the pro on a REAL TV is TWICE as clear and the movement is great on a 240hz or higher TV. RDR2 looks like sh*t on the PS4 PRO ON ALL TVs!!!!!!!!! we need a thread for ONLY people with super high end TVs.... because comments like that about uncharted 4 are FLAT OUT WRONG. And it makes the rest of us seem like we are just nitpicking and that “that’s what checkerboarding looks like!” WRONG!!!!! period.

Again... what kind of TV did you play it on bud? i garauntee you are playing on a TV with a lower frame rate than mine. Or you WOULD NOT SEE ANY BLUR ON UNCHARTED 4. if you are on a 300$ Walmart TV with a framrate under 120hz YOUR OPINION ON THIS ISSUE DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. If rockstars only “help” is turn off hdr and adjust brightness... then F them and Sony. this IS absolutely something they could’ve worked together on to make at least a little better. ive tried every suggestion. I’m getting headaches and having a hard time focusing for about 20 minutes after every time I try to play. ive had my LG OLED with dolbyvision and HDR for almost a year... I own EVERY PS4 game that does HDR... it may not be able to be patched... but releasing this like this after 8 years of work.... FAIL. im very much BEYOND disappointed and I feel like I would take a refund right now. And they should offer this. STOP SAYING THIS IS HOW CHECKERBOARDING LOOKS!!!!!! You obviously have ZERO experience with PS4 Pro and TOP END TV’s (my TV was just under $3,000. And again, I’ve used it every day for almost a year. uncharted4 looks WAY better than this. there is NO excuse for this. The game should’ve been delayed. PERIOD. .PERIOD.

I’m telling you it strains my eyes trying to focus through the blur! Take a break for an hour then go back to it.

What you guys don’t realize is that this happened with battlefield 1. Looked just like this... they DID patch it. It did become clearer. soo... it IS possible that a patch could improve it. ive got it looking better... but it’s nauseating to play for long periods still. this is NOT weak hardware... it’s a software issue. i hope!

If I have to buy an Xbox to play this game then I’m going to be pissed. I can’t stand ANY Xbox controller...

I’m not even kidding. It’s affecting my vision. I’ve always had perfect vision and after playing for an hour I’m having a hard time focusing. I’m sure it will be fine... but after watching 4K for over a year... my eyes are used to focusing in on games and my brain is trying to force it into focus... we need to get a petition. If I can’t get a patch to make it at least a little better... then I want my money back. This is utter BS. saying that well the PS4 can’t do true native is BS because if I put in uncharted 4 it looks lightyears better... and that is sad. i would trade polygon count and/or detail to just have it F’ing FOCUS!!!

I am on a ps4Pro with 55” LG C6 OLED. Same problem. But not as bad as some of the pics I’ve seen posted!!! (Ross101, that looks WAY worse than what I’m seeing.) I'm not seeing pixelated fuzz, I’m not seeing motion stutter, tearing or latency... just blurry sometimes. And at different distances like it doesn’t know where to focus.. Uncharted 4 in 4K hdr looks better than this... (clarity and HDR-wise) Rockstar you need to acknowledge this openly. Because all the footage I saw that was supposed to be PS4 pro before launch looked a LOT better. this isn’t good for Sony. And it’s just kinda underhanded feeling from them and R*. Im pretty disappointed.
