Dead Eye David

So I already know that both the GTA and RDR universes are separate, however I came across this loading screen picture of a random character that has a lot of facial similarities to Claude Speed from GTA and John Marston from RDR. Is it possible that R* based this character off both Claude and John? Or did R* overstepped the boundaries of universes and decided to create a character who is related to both of them? From what I can remember, John Marston’s father is Scottish and also Claude’s last name is Speed which is both Old English and Scottish. Here is a link to the picture:

What a shame, I was hoping to get connected with the RDR community since really love the games, hopefully I can when RDR3 comes out

Hi everyone, I have always been a big time gamer and loved things that have existed way before I was even born. Although I am not into country music, I do love anything to do with Old West. When I was a small child, I always had problems with sleeping at night time so I would often turn my TV on late at night and sometimes there would be a few movies based off the 1800s. When my parents got my PS2, I bought myself the Red Dead Revolver game and that pretty much was what got me into the whole Red Dead series. I’ve never played online multiplayer mode in Red Dead 2 until 2022 but I have played story mode in both Red Dead 1 & 2 (as I have explained in my other thread, LOL). Nobody in the Red Dead community has really spoken to me or known my existence since I normally interact with just my family and close friends, however I would like to get to know everybody and learn more about the Red Dead fandom. Nothing else much I can really say about myself, other than my big interest in history and video games, I like to draw, cook, travel and volunteer at my local animal rescue shelter. I am currently unemployed as I have decided to return to college to improve my skills with computers and get a better job since I don’t really like the other job I had (I was a boring retail assistant, absolutely hated it!). That pretty much is all about me, I don’t want to reveal too much of myself since this is the internet after all but I hope to get to know you all and talk more about Red Dead. If anyone is wondering who is my favourite character, it is a tie between John Marston and Arthur Morgan, both characters are equally good and are important to the story development.

So for years I’ve played GTA 5 and it was only sometime in 2022 I started started playing Red Dead Online. I’ve played the story mode of Red Dead 1 & 2 but I’ve never really played online mode nor have I used any of the other features. A friend of mine convinced me to make one of those Instagram pages to share gameplay videos and photos, however I have no clue on how to record clips for Rockstar Editor. I know how to record clips on GTA 5 and I know how to live stream for Youtube but how do I record a clip and edit it through Rockstar Editor on RDR 2 and RDO? Please can somebody help me? I am so confused, I even searched it Google and YouTube and found no answers!
