Hey everyone, I’ve been stuck on the American Venom mission in RDR2 and could really use some advice. The gunfights feel nonstop, and I keep getting taken out before I can finish the last stretch. I’ve tried using cover more and switching weapons, but I still get overwhelmed. Are there any small tricks that helped you finish this mission—like specific spots to take cover or the best weapons to use during the fight? I’d love to hear what worked for you. Also, kind of random, but I’ve been doing a Tableau tutorial for work and it made me laugh—so much data and control, yet I can’t even control a single shootout in this game. 😂 Anyway, just trying to finally wrap up the story and not give up right at the end. Hey y’all, Been riding solo for a while now and figured it's about time to build a proper crew. I go by the name Eli “Red” Mason in-game, and I’ve been roaming the frontier for a good while now — hunting, trading, the occasional bounty (and maybe a few misadventures on the wrong side of the law 😅). I'm on PC, usually online evenings (EST), and looking to form a laid-back, mature posse that’s all about having a good time without taking things too seriously. I’m not into griefing randoms or drama. Just want a small group of folks who enjoy the world of RDO — whether it’s running trader deliveries, fishing up in the Heartlands, or just drinking ourselves into oblivion in Valentine and waking up in Saint Denis with no memory of how we got there 😂 Mic or no mic, doesn’t matter. I’m chill either way — just be cool, respectful, and bring your own flavor to the table. If you’re into casual roleplay, even better. Man, I still can’t get over how incredible this game is, even years after release. The level of detail is just nuts. I was riding through the swamps the other night and randomly got ambushed by Lemoyne Raiders—I legit jumped. 😂 Also, Arthur has to be one of the best-written protagonists in any game I’ve played. His story hits even harder on a second playthrough, especially if you’re paying attention to all the subtle character moments and how the gang starts to fall apart. Anyone else still finding little things they missed the first time around? I swear I’ve put in over 100 hours and the world still surprises me.
