Is this not in the game? And if not, why would they take that out? In GTA V it is called aim assist full or something like that, and in RDR 1 I dont believe it is called anything, it is just there. But right now, all I can do in the game is switch targets by re aiming instead of flicking the right stick to switch between multiple targets quickly.

I too have noticed this. Puzzling. I'll check the controls options and see if there's anything we're missing.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, your control options are as follows:

Lock-On Mode (On-Foot): Normal, Narrow, Free Aim, Wide

Aim Assist Strength (On-Foot): Adjustable

Lock-On Mode (Mount/Vehicle): Normal, Narrow, Free Aim, Wide

Aim Assist Strength (Mount/Vehicle): Adjustable

These are all the Targeting options as of now.

I figured it's not a targeting mode in itself, it's an option while targeting in lock-on mode.

Seems to be the go-to for this game, for sure.

This is quite strange. Hopefully Rockstar patches something in, but being the company that theyre known to be, I doubt they do anything like that. Whatever.

Nada.

I just realized something. I went back to rdr1 on my xbox 360...I dont think you were even able to do that on this game either. Maybe it was just a gta thing.

I was also looking for this option. In rdr1 you could cycle between target with a flick of right stick. It doesn't seem like it's in rdr2. This sucks because if I have 2 deers in front of me, one with 3 stars pelt and another with 1 star pelt, it will aime at whatever's closer to me instead of being able to swith quickly with the right stick. Same in Dead Eye mode, it takes me a lot of time to cycle between multiple enemies. I'll test the contols and see if this changes anything and see if that works. I really miss the old targeting system from rdr1. :(
