scrawny nag in missions

hi could someone please tell me why i always get a scrawny nag in missions and not my own horse

I’m not sure... but maybe if you look at your new horse menu you’ll see that under the missions option you have scrawny nag set.

I have the same issue. at first it was only story mission. recently it has happened in stranger missions also. For some reason i think the game thinks your horse is dead. so you get the nag.
