Interactions glitched while riding PC

Hi all, I'm having some trouble interacting while riding my horse. Ever since the tutorial ended, I haven't been able to talk, shoot, throw a lasso, etc from my horse. The interact prompt pops up, and when I press it, the options flash for just a second before disappearing. I can't think of any settings I would have changed, but I favour performance regarding the graphics.

Tap to hold doesn't work while on a horse. You have to change it to hold. There is a keymapping fix out for aiming that is supposed to fix this problem but the author's instructions are difficult to follow.
