Rd2 warped brindle

Hey, I'm having so much trouble on ps5 trying to get the warped brindle, I'm starting to wonder if it's glitching. 

Ive already got the red chestnut with no issues at all, and heaps of other horses as well.

The 1st time I tried to get the warped brindle, I rode it for like almost 2 minutes-it kept stopping like it was broken in, and then starting bucking again until eventually it bucked me off. 

At that point I was over it, and just went to find unusual coats in other horses that I hadn't ridden, and it even happened with one of the more common horses, so I  just gave up. 

since then, for a few days I've just been doing other things, and decided just to get a random Kentucky saddler, to see if I could break it in, and I could-no drama. 

But when I tried right after that to get the warped brindle again, the same thing happened as before, I just couldn't break it in.

any ideas? I want it so bad!

What I do to break a horse is pull back on the left thumb stick and just wiggle it back and forth. And as soon as the horse is broken I call my other horse over and put my saddle on the new horse. That gives you bonding level one and the horse is now yours permanently. So in doing that, you can break and keep any and every horse in the game. Just remember to stable your horses if you already have 2 out and are wanting to break and keep another one. If you don't you'll lose one of your previously gotten horses. It's how I lost the red chestnut Arabian. Luckily I still had the white Arabian.
