Downloadable Content (DLC)

So far the only DLCs we will have for Red Dead Redemption 2 are the pre-order bonuses and the exclusive content bundled in the Special Edition and Ultimate Edition of the game. PS4 players will also have access to exclusive DLC content for 30 days after which it will be available to Xbox One players for free.

Currently, Rockstar hasn't made any specific announcements for any future DLC but it is something they would contemplate for the future.

Note that players who purchased Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 will also have access to all DLC content of Special Edition.

DLC Horses

• War Horse - included as pre-order bonus
• Dappled Black Thoroughbred - included in Special Edition of the game and only usable in Story Mode
• Black Chestnut Thoroughbred - exclusive to Ultimate Edition of the game and only usable in Red Dead Online
• Red Chestnut Arabian Horse - included as an early access exclusive content for PS4 players

DLC Horse Saddles

• Nuevo Paraiso Saddle - included along with Dappled Black Thoroughbred horse in Special Edition of the game and only usable in Story Mode
• High Plains Cutting Saddle - included along with Black Chestnut Thoroughbred horse in Ultimate Edition of the game and only usable in Red Dead Online
• Alligator Skin Ranch Cutter Saddle - included as an early access exclusive content for PS4 players

DLC Outfits

• Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit - included in Special Edition of the game and only usable in Story Mode
• Blackrose Bounty Hunter Outfit - exclusive to Ultimate Edition of the game and only usable in Red Dead Online
• Copperhead Enforcer Outfit - exclusive to Ultimate Edition of the game and only usable in Red Dead Online
• Grizzlies Outlaw Outfit - included as an early access exclusive content for PS4 players

DLC Missions

• Bank Robbery Mission - included in Special Edition of the game as a side event in Story Mode.
• Gang Hideout Mission - included in Special Edition of the game as a side event in Story Mode.

DLC Guns

• Volcanic Pistol - included in Special Edition of the game and will be usable in both Story Mode and Red Dead Online
• Pump Action Shotgun - included in Special Edition of the game and will be usable in both Story Mode and Red Dead Online
• Lancaster Varmint Rifle - included in Special Edition of the game and will be usable in both Story Mode and Red Dead Online
• High Roller Double-Action Revolver - included as an early access exclusive content for PS4 players. The weapon has a higher rate of fire than most revolvers, making it suited to combat while mounted

DLC Equipment

• Eagle Talon Talisman - boosting accessory included in Special Edition of the game and only usable in Story Mode
• Iguana Scale - boosting accessory included in Special Edition and of the game only usable in Story Mode

Miscellaneous DLC

• Survivor Camp Theme - exclusive to Ultimate Edition of the game so players can customize their camp in Red Dead Online.
• Treasure Map - An in-game map that is only available to players who pre-ordered the game digitally on or before August 15, 2018.
• Outlaw Survival Kit - a pre-order bonus including various consumables.
• Cash Bonus - a pre-order bonus including cash for Arthur Morgan in story mode.
• Rank Bonus - included in the Ultimate Edition, granting an XP bonus up until Rank 25.
