Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
Molly and Dutch van der Linde
Molly is in a relationship with the gang's leader Dutch Van der Linde, and barely does any work around the gang's camp which leads to tension between her and the other women, who feel she gets preferential treatment due to hero relationship with Dutch. During the course of the game, she isn't involved much in the various exploits of the gang and mostly stays at the camp.
During the Guarma chapter, she is with the half of the gang that stays behind on the American mainland. Other members state that during this time, she disappeared for a long stretch of time.
After the gang is reunited, the situation quickly deteriorates as it becomes clear someone sold them out to the authorities. A drunk Molly begins ranting due to the lack of attention from Dutch and claims that she sold out the gang to the Pinkertons. Dutch pulls his gun on her, but is calmed by Arthur, however meanwhile Susan Grimshaw, who was previously romantically involved with Dutch, shoots Molly with a shotgun. She dies immediately.
Ever since the original Red Dead Redemption was released back in 2010 and swiftly completed by Matt he has been eagerly anticipating another return to the Wild West. In Matt's totally non-biased opinion the story told in the sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2, is one of the best ever (at least as far as games go). And while some story DLC would be great, Matt isn't counting on it! Find him on LinkedIn or Twitter.
