  1. What’s the difference? Do special lures never break and lures do? Or do lures never wear out? I’m fishing with Dutch and Hosea and I’ve caught at least 13 fish using a lake lure and I still have it. EDIT: Weyman answered all of my questions, so this discussion is closed. However I still encourage any fishing talk/advice to be shared on here ^^
  2. Does it have to be all challenges or just a few? Which ones?
  3. I’m sure I’ve reached that level gate of my honor level, considering it doesn’t seem to be getting any higher. I’ve known about this level gate since I’ve started the game but I forgot when it goes away. What chapter does the level gate go away?
  4. Glad you found this helpful ^^ people say that chapter 6, you gain/lose x1.5 honor to every honor action you perform. This would be even more useful then. I gave up on being good at the beginning of the game, so I went evil for more money making opportunities, but now I’m at a pretty good spot financially and I got all the guns I can carry, along with a good horse and some outfits that I’m pretty much set to stray from my evil ways, and I’m still on chapter 2 !
  5. I know this is common sense already but if you go around Saint Denis and greet everyone you see, you get honor for every 3rd-4th person you greet. People say Blackwater is good too but I can’t confirm that since I can’t get into Blackwater without being chased like a damn dog with rabies by pet patrol. An added bonus is that you can do this and increase your horse bond at the same time without much effort. Just lead your newly acquired horse (or horse with bond level lower than 4) and just walk around leading your horse. You gain horse bond pretty fast this way, although it may take a little while. i posted this to share that this is an amazing combo of activities that only benefits the player. Hope you guys enjoyed this
  6. No but I did go to the one in Emerald. I’ll go check there. Thanks!
  7. You’re right. I always manually save after I finish the robbery but I should save beforehand, too. That’s good. Luckily I got a Gray Rose Arabian from the SD method, so that’ll do until I get another Fox Trotter. Thanks again. This goes to you too, @BropolloCreed79
  8. He didn’t though, not to my knowledge at the least! I took a train to SD from emerald ranch and I was reading my book to pass time for the train to start moving. I’m sure they were just standing there by the train like they always do. The horse never spawns on the tracks, always on the side, so the chances of the train killing the horse seems very unlikely... but at the same time, very likely. Ah well... I’ll just try to get another with the SD method
  9. I was finishing up a train robbery in Annesburg like usual. When I finished up, I found a horse other than my Missouri Fox Trotter with me, and the saddle(which was upgraded but now set to default) was all the way in Saint Denis. I went to a stable and now my Fox Trotter is completely replaced by a shitty horse along with my upgraded saddle being lost... um, what the hell Rockstar? Was I punished for being too bad or something?
  10. It’s a natural function, don’t worry. The spawns here are completely random, so if you don’t get a rare horse on your first try, then don’t fret. Just quit to main menu and load the save again. It might take time depending on your luck. I got really lucky and got the foxtrotter on my second try so ^^
  11. Yeah I know where to get another one, I just never tried to because it’s thought I only needed one. I just want to keep my current white Arabian for the sentimental value. If only there was a guide for fast horse bonding... I would spam L3 to calm her while we ride. I’d feed and brush and pet her and it still took a while to get level 4
  12. Wow, good to see this thread being my most active one so far! I still have my Tennessee walker in my stable, too. It was my first horse so it means a lot to me ^^ also not sure if you guys know about this, but there’s a spot slightly above Saint Denis that spawns two of ANY horse you could find, including horses you can only find in the end game. Here is a video to show you: i know it’s MrBoss and he’s huge cancer, but this video is what helped me get my super rare horse early on. Took my second try to get it so I’m sharing the wealth.
  13. That’s fine, I got my answer. But would it be better to sell a white Arabian (or any horse) to the horse fence in chapter 3 or any stable?
  14. I ditched my white arabian with level 4 bond a while ago when I found a Missouri Fox Trotter in Saint Denis. Now I randomly ran into the same Arabian in Annesburg and I was so happy, I took it to a stable to stable her and visit her again. then I see her sell price is $240... it is tempting considering I’ll never use her again, but she has sentimental value to me. Would another white arabian horse be the same price with a level 1 bond? And is it better to sell them to a horse fence than a stable?
  15. I can report IMMEDIATE success with Gill’s Landing ! It is the river bank directly south under where it says The Heartlands on the map, right below the railroad track and bison hunting spot. There’s also a stranger mission there, and I’m in Chapter 2. Head there if you like!
  16. Okay, I’ll go give it a look. Thanks!
  17. So the Elysian pool is the best place for bluegill or is that the legendary location? Either way I’ll go check it out. Thanks!
  18. I’m not talking about the legendary. I don’t give a flying dung about that right now. I’m just trying to make potent predator bait but I keep getting rock bass and those tiny peckrel fish things. I am using cheese bait at the river directly south east of Braithwaite Manor, next to panther spawn
  19. Well that is unfortunate... but I guess it’s my only option so far. Thanks bud.
  20. Paying bounty and changing clothes before getting on train did NOT help either, unfortunately...
  21. Yup I rode around the city of Annesburg for a little bit to see if that worked. To no avail. How many times have you robbed the Annesburg train? It must’ve had happened at least once in your game if you tried to wait in a train after robbing Annesburg route. edit: also made enough money to clear my bounty in the upper Grizzly region. Hoping that helps but still taking suggestions if there are any.
  22. So I’ve robbed the annesburg train route quite a few times before because it’s so easy with high reward, but when I finish up, none of the trains I take a ticket to don’t move for a while, even if the driver is ringing that bell/horn thing. Anyone found a fix for it? Also no, saving and loading/restarting game doesn’t work. It works again after running around and doing stuff for a while but I don’t want to wait so long to rob it again. Edit: Revised the wording to better explain my issue.
