Thats switching back and fourth which is passive mode lite. I just don't like the idea of having the only incentive to play on a PvP server to simply cause chaos, turning the servers into hellholes when it should be a nice mix, as its way more efficient to do anything else on PvE where you can't be killed.

You absolutely are. Im fine with the game as it is now, and would like to continue playing it this way. You're either advocating to change it or have passive mode lite which is switching back and fourth. You're saying because you don't like the idea of creating a seperate character to play on passive mode enabled servers or hardcore servers that you need to subject everyone to it. How is that fair?

You can do exactly as you're saying under my suggestion. Switch back and fourth between pve and pvp. Just because you're going to have to create a new character to play under a strictly pvp server is completely understandable and has been done countless times in the past with great success. You being upset about this shouldn't be what removes the entire incentive in the game to watch ones back among other things for everyone else.

Thats not what im saying at all. I said go for having your dumb normie passive mode enabled server, so you can switch back and fourth whenever you want, and have others remain dedicated hardcore so they're on a level playing field with others who actually enjoy the concept of watching their backs. Yeah it does make sense. Many successful games have done this in the past. If you want to switch it should atleast have a paywall like WoW so people aren't just using PVE for missions and using PVP only to kill others.

It seems like you both are arguing with a complete strawman here. No one is saying you can't do as you say, im just saying i want side of it to remain the same instead of having passive mode or passive mode lite (switching between pve and pvp servers) forced upon me.

The problem is the only reason why anyone would go into pvp would be to kill eachother. There wouldn't be any reason to go hunting or do missions with it on, meaning the vast majority would always have it off, another reason why i would like to have the servers that have pvp as a choice separate from actual pvp servers. I think the pings on the map being removed would fix alot, and the vast majority here on both sides agree thats the problem. yes totally agreed there.

First of all thats not how i play, and even if i was you have no ground to assume that as if it would even matter. Im just arguing that the game should be left the same for those who want it to remain the same, and if enough people whine for passive mode they don't just mash both together killing all incentive to do missions or hunt or whatever in PVP in a crap attempt to appease everyone like GTA.

Theres nothing wrong with segregating normies who want to have passive mode allowable from others who want to be locked into a legit pvp experience with everyone else

Then there should be special servers for you. Not everyone wants to ride up to rob someone just to find out they're invulnerable. Not everyone wants to have all incentive to grind in PVP and watching ones back taken away.

No i find it fun to have a game where everyone can enjoy watching their back and having incentive to group up or avoid players while riding alone. I find it fun knowing that everyone risked their butt for the same reward i did, instead of grinding in PVE only to come out of it when looking for blood in PVP I find it cool that Rockstar did this, and if enough people whine and eventually something has to happen, they shouldn't ruin the game for everyone else in the process. There should be normie passive mode allowed servers and separate PVP servers with separate characters

lol no probably not. You didn't risk your butt for it playing online so, There might be a cosmetic or two for certain story mode achievements though

I suspect its to insure people pre order the game and buy the deluxe edition lol. But yeah, that did happen. However the majority have our version so it could def happen again haha. Im still mad. i wanna enjoy the game before noobs and game journos ruin it with passive mode again.

That sounds awesome. Never played it though. I totally agree with this. Blips should only really show up it someone is shooting nearby or something. I really really wish this would be the fix. Im just not sure that will happen because they won't be appeased by that, they're going to get their passive mode one way or another. They're going to whine nonstop until they eventually get it regardless of map blips being removed. Would be hilarious if Rockstar just told them to l2p. I would adore that.

Im not the one asking to add anything. Id like the game to stay the way it is. PVP only. Its the noobs and game journos asking for this, im the one trying to compromise. This is the problem, this is how we get passive mode. My suggestion is keep half the way they are, and when the whining eventually takes over atleast segregate these people instead of changing the game for everyone. Passive mode allowable on one, not on another, Its simple to have different kinds of servers, most games have them. Im only asking for two, well one really, but these people will end up getting their way eventually so... Id like to remain playing with risk vs reward knowing that everyone else is on the same playing field. Its not often you see games with legit pvp anymore. Its a rare and fun thing. I don't want it to go. I don't want everyone to go to PVE servers to grind and only switch over to PVP to cause hell. I wanna watch my back knowing everyone else is watching theirs. I want the game to stay the way it is.

Never said there can't be PvE and PVP crossover servers. Id just like to have some remain PVP only so i don't cripple myself competitively just to play on a PvP server. Idk why this is soo controversial. Seriously why would anyone bother doing missions on PVP servers when PVP servers have been turned into nothing but temporary hunting grounds? Most would go into PVE servers/passive mode and only log into PvP when they're out for blood. This is crap.

I don't care about auto aim idk why you keep bringing it up. Sure turn it off for everyone, whatever. You really think taking out any incentive to grind on PVP is a good idea? You really think everyone will just act like you and play on PVP regardless? You really think that PVP servers won't just be hellholes for the sake of temporarily killing people because of this? You really think that Rockstar won't just skip this middleman and add passive mode? I really don't see your argument FOR there NOT being a dedicated PVP always server with separate characters from PVE/PVP servers. Do you not want to have a character who you risk it to get the biscuit? And yeah we can have auto-aim off in these hardcore servers too before you bring it up again. Why NOT? How dare you accuse me of reading those lol. Im saying they pressure large companies with bad press and for some reason they cave. Rockstar is better for not doing this than most, but i fear enough whining will land us with either passive mode or players being able to grind on PVE servers, only to hop over onto PVP for causing havoc. Id really really really like to just keep the game the way it is, but these people have a way of getting their way.
