Why is Time An Objective

I feel like in such a beautifully constructed game with a bunch of content like the looting system... they shouldn’t be worried about how fast you do something. I just want to sit back and relax. I want to play the game like it should be played without feeling rushed to get something done in a certain amount of time. Unless that’s the whole point to a mission of course. I understand how some things are time sensitive. But, don’t jump ahead two weeks if your going to judge how fast I complete something. I think this is more of a rant than anything else. This may be found as annoying of me to point out. Maybe some other people feel the same way I do about such a trivial thing.

I'm confused.  Who is rushing and judging you on your pace of play?

There is no need to rush ANYTHING in the game, after Chapter 1 you can do anything at your own pace. The ONLY thing you are timed on is certain missions that require you to do them in a certain time to get Gold but by no means is this necessary or forced on you.
