Whilst I am sure I am million KM behind the curve, I just found this out... so it might be useful.

To fish from a canoe (I suppose from a boat as well, but not tried)

* Get in canoe and paddle to desired place

* Stand up! (Y on XBox)

*Fishing rod becomes available and you can fish.

So simple, so irritating.

@Mazier_Drave has that been successful for you? I never had much luck with a canoe. Last time I tried it I was flung into the air after catching a fish, then the canoe sunk...

Always had better luck on the shore.
