Latest Update - 12/11/18 Not Good It Uninstalled My Game

I just installed the latest update (Big mistake) and restarted the game, the screen was very jumpy and hard to play so I decided to turn off my xbox one x and restart it.  Not good, after the restart my game was uninstalled!!  I'm now having to reinstall a 92 GB game, so much for playing this morning.  I'm hoping and praying that my progress is saved, I've got over 200 hours in this game.  What the @#$%*&^ is going on with this beautiful game.

@Jim Garrison that's weird... I was playing earlier (like 3 hours ago) and didn't have any issues. I'm also on the x, but I'm not sure if it updated last night.

When I turned it on this morning, it said I needed an update, it was about 1gb.  Keeping fingers crossed it saved my game.

I had the exact same thing happen to me when I tried to update the game, except now every time I try to reinstall the game, it stops about a quarter of the way through. I'm also really hoping I didn't lose my progress. Here's hoping.

Same thing just happened to me. Did update, restarted and boom...92.79 gig update ...reinstalling. This sucks and is unacceptable

@Taco Libre and @Jim Garrison must have been a fluke.  Updated both games this evening, mine and my son's, and had no issues at all, in fact I'm playing blackjack after the update as I type this and didn't lose anything.

Maybe you didn't fully exit the game before it did the update?

I updated my sons xbox as well with no issue. Still 1 fluke too many IMO
