Not gonna quote everything you said as I don't like to repost a long text (personal preference). That being said I can respect your answer.

Thanks

All right I just read through all that and I believe that you and I may agree politically. I however think you are adding politics this game when they're not and it seems like you're using this forum as a soapbox for conservative values which it isn't for.

I did notice and was slightly irritated by some of the things you mentioned especially not being able to kill any of the Native Americans at any point because for some reason the reservation was no weapons ... I'm an Outlaw I don't care.

I noticed that the average person was way more Progressive than they should have been there but I disagree on your point on the gang. Like-minded people stick together so if you have a bunch of non chauvinist and non racist men that have no problem killing people then you got yourself a gang; which is why Dutch's response to the chauvinism so aggressively because in their group it's inappropriate.

As for Sadie it explains why she's rough and you can literally watch her go insane ... (many years later) she has been independent for that whole time so John comes to work for her, which is explained very clearly I'm the boss if you have a problem with that we won't work together and he says okay

So moral of the story I agree there were some twinges but as I was playing a video game... I went ahead and let them slide and pretended like I didn't get my politics from a game.

I hope you don't take this as an attack, but I am worried that this is why people think we conservatives are too aggressive....

I don't take it as an attack at all, and didn't mean to be coming across that way (if I have), but didn't think I was really being aggressive outside of one response replying to a post that to me seemed clearly patronizing.  Also, not sure why you worry that I am using the platform as a soapbox for conservative values? I don't think I ever advocated for any substantively conservative policies or values, have I? I am, obviously, pushing against the forced inclusion of liberal values in RDR2, but to me the mere absence of liberal values does not necessarily imply conservatism, rather simply neutrality, and I would honestly be doing the same were the positions inverted and the right attempting to forcefully control culture.  To the extent that arguing against the left's bullying tactics in regards to cultural issues can be considered conservatism though, I can see why some may think that, but would counter that the left is objectively engaging in such practices, which to me seems a relatively widespread view for the last several years and one which portions of both the right and left share.  And, while true that I do lean slightly more right than left these days, that is primarily because I am turned off by the left's tactics, not necessarily its policies.  In fact, until the last five years or so, I kind of ping ponged back-and-forth between the left and right, and had supported both liberal and conservative positions.

As far as the game itself goes, it is not really any one specific thing that concerns me, but the bigger pattern, which when considered as a whole seems to clearly show a bias toward the left's social justice concerns.  And the reason the game's politics bothers me at all is similarly only because of its place in the broader cultural debate.

It's important here I think to distinguish between traditional, concrete political narratives (e.g., the left opposing Trump's wall or supporting healthcare expansion), which are relatively easy to spot, and the subsuming of social debates into politics in recent years (e.g., and perhaps most notably, the importance of being conscious of power dynamics in interpersonal relationships, particularly societal or personal relationships between those in historically marginalized subcommunities - such as women or African-Americans or Native Americans -

So I just reread the post and I apologize because I was mistaken you mentioned a political narrative not a conservative value, and the concern about the Soap Box is because misusing platforms is exactly what the left does wrong in my opinion turning every situation into a chance for a political statement. That being said I agree with you on the dirtiness of their tactics in lieu of True Values behind their points or education to back it up.

I would also like to note that immigration was a huge part of this time. It was when we were considered the Melting Pot... it's only recently that that pendulum has gone back to Swinging The Middle
