impossible to cook fish for daily

since few time, appears the daily cook fish, but even if i fish 10 diferent kind of fishes, when i try to cook it, it seems that i have no fish flesh.. (oO)

in the same time, yesterday, i had a flowers openworld event daily, but no event appeared, i stayed free in heartland for more then 3 hours not to miss it, but  no event...

i'm currently 25/28 days for daylies...

I believe you need to go into your satchel and selects the fish to break it down.  Depending on the fish you'll then have succulent/flaky fish you can cook.  Herb picking challenge is one you need a posse for.

What @Vimes said. The fish has to be broken down first before you can cook it. You do 5his by going into your satchel, highlighting it and pressing X to break it down. Large fish like muskie and northern pike can't be broken down.
