collectors items

I have unlocked the collectors satchel and horse breast plate lantern and it tells me to get them in the stables but I see noware in stables to purchase or aquire these items, nor do I find them available in the catalogs, how do I get these items?

stable->horse->tack and service->saddles->"your selected saddle"->lantern.

Also: the lantern is married to the saddle you put it on.  You can remove it from the original saddle, but can't move it to different saddles.
