Vendetta
I set out to recreate the shotgun used by Val Kilmer in his role as Doc Holliday in the 1993 Tombstone movie to the best of my abilities with the current in game options on my Xbox One. Tombstone movie reference photo's are from imfdb.org and are the property of their respective copyright holders. I can not link the photos to show up here with my in game photos, but you can locate them in the link below under: Meteor 10 gauge side-by-side shotgun If you would like to read up on the details of other weapons used in the movie, this is the link: http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Tombstone The receiver on the movie shotgun, as well as the hammers and the trigger guard is well worn with the factory bluing worn down to the bare metal. Unfortunately, current in game finishes limits us as there is no finish that mimics worn blued steel. So bare metal it is. I really liked this wood varnish. Build Specs Barrel length: Factory Short Barrel Improved Rifling: Yes Barrel Finish: Blue Trigger Finish: Blue Remaining Metal Finishes: Iron Stock: Wide Grain Stock Varnish: Bubinga Note: Overall this build came out well. Without a worn blued steel finish in game, I will be making all metal surfaces blued. Edited December 5, 2020 by Vendetta
