Pants over boots?

Purchased the Austin boots after a video on You Tube shows a character wearing pants over the boots but it always auto defaults to pants being inside the boots. While inside the wardrobe at the tailors, there’s no option to wear the pants outside the boots. Did I miss something here?

I would have to check. But I believe if you are at the clothing list. Example:

Outfits / Hats/ Shirts / Pants / Boots & so on. Press the (Xbox) X button. It should say Modify in the Lower Right. In there you’ll have the Boots: option to put the pant over the boots.  If it’s not grey out.

It works with the Austins. Just tried it. Edit my previous post with corrections.
